The deal has fallen through. But on HL the share is still suspended so I don’t get how the share price has fallen.
I have noticed the shares ( and the money) has disappeared from my account. I can’t find any news . Does anyone know anything?
I have not seen that. Is everyone assuming that or has it been written down somewhere? I voted for the deal but can get an offer for my shares.

Where do you get the information that if you vote for the deal you can no longer sell your shares?

I rarely post, but often read. I have never understood why anyone comes on here to post about a share when they are are not invested, unless they wish to see it drop so they can gain from a short or buy in cheaper. Why would anyone even bother to post about a share they have no interest in. I guess people will have to make their own minds ups as to someone’s intentions...
It seems no one has noticed yesterday’s TR1. Am I missing something?
If the share price drops on bad news after selling he would be accused of insider trading. If it goes up because of good news after selling he wouldn’t. He is just a person who needs money, like us all. He needs a new house. There is no point to any of this if there is no quality of life. He still has the majority of his shares that he had kept and must feel confident they will be enough to make him more money. If he never sells his shares and takes some profits for his family what is the point in it all?
Berni, did you not read my post? They can insist that the crew are vaccinated, it will be part of their employment contract. As I have already said they insist on yellow fever as on the South American cruises there are certain countries that will refuse entry. There are also medical jobs that insist on vaccines. My son could not work in the USA before he had a note from his doctor that he had all his childhood vaccinations up to date. This is very common. If people don’t want the job they don’t have to accept it. If they want to visit South America they get the yellow fever vaccine. Maybe in the future if they want to cruise they will need a covid vaccine. I fir one would feel happier if my fellow passengers were vaccinated.
Berni, I very rarely post on these boards, just read. But you are incorrect regarding vaccines. They can, and do insist that staff and passengers are vaccinated as there are some countries that will not allow people in if they are not vaccinated against yellow fever. They will not allow any passengers on if they have no certificate of vaccination, this is stipulated at the time of booking.
Not just bikes but camping equipment and roof boxes too. https://www.hl.co.uk/news/2020/8/6/uk-staycation-boom-lifts-sales-of-camping-gear?utm_medium=social-organic&Override=1&theSource=SOTW
I can confirm that my son was sent a letter yesterday from the NHS offering him an antibody test. It said they were randomly testing people on GP lists. It would be a fingerpick test with the result in 10 minutes. It didn’t say who from.
He is however out of the country. No one else in the household was asked though.
