RE: Trying to Value What EUA is Really worth To Shareholders19 Nov 2021 00:14
Good post in general mugwump but a few points to note.
1. You have forgotten cost of extraction, let's say $500 per ounce to be conservative. This drops things by 25% for starters.
2. Perhaps more importantly bead in mind that the price per oz of $2000 is only down to current world supply and demand. There will be posters on here that can tell us what the annual usage of the various pgms is. Therefore there would be no point us (or our buyer) producing say 2mln ounces in a year if we can only sell 500k ounces at good margin. However it may work in our favour if we can prove that we have perhaps 25% of the worlds deposits, (if we keep land grabbing this could be a possibility). We could then go down a de Beers diamond route and drip feed the market maximising our margins and thus the dividend. I'd be interested in other posters views on this. Atb.
