AS saying “I am VERY confident we will have biopsy data” is a bit of a massive giveaway really isn’t it. I fully expect it.

Think is though ladies and gents, how does this work…. A patient is surviving beyond there given expectancy (since these are sadly end of life patients.)…. Or…… a patient dies. How do you answer the families question on whether or not it was working or whether it was making any difference at all if you don’t take biopsies? It’s all well and good saying as bandy has that it could just be shrinking, but how accurate would any other method of collecting data be, compared to a biopsy, in indicating how well it’s working, if at all? (Genuine question.) I’m just trying to line my thinking up for that crazed our between 7 and 8am when news does land so I can make sense of it all. It just seems like a very odd idea to hammer on with a trial and not know for sure how well it’s working. As a patient I personally would be desperate to know. End of life or not, there would always be hope that it isn’t the end and I’d want the answer to be given with every spec of data they could get.

Imagine if that was it bandy? It would be hilarious if Avacta came out and said we wanted Biopsy data but the tumour had ****ed off. The bashers would be saying “yeah well how do you know it was the AVA6000.?How do you know it wasn’t some extra strong tiger balm they rubbed on themselves?” But it’s a good point. You’d still need Biopsies to get a clear picture of how.

“biopsy samples have been taken throughout at least the latter stages of the trial but have not analysed yet. The RNS talks about "gathering some biopsy data from the Phase Ia dose escalation study", not about gathering biopsies.” How would you gather biopsy data without gathering biopsies? Also what’s more expensive, taking biopsies, not analysing them until the end so you can get 4 for the price of one in lab time or running a trial, taking no data til the end and finding out it’s ****? I can’t see that they’d take biopsies and not analyse along the way if they are taking them. It would make zero sense to stick them in the freezer til the end of the trial.

Sorry yeah, correct Mr A. Dose is 25% higher so my guess is 7 weeks then reaching max dose quicker? So possibly last dose the last week in October and results the week after so 1st week. That sound about correct?

25 weeks, 21 weeks, 11 weeks….. that’s the gaps between dose expansions. So I’m guessing around 8-9 weeks max. So first week in November we should get news on the end of P1a, max in my opinion. Just trying to work out how much longer these tits plan on hanging around Twitter making **** up before they get complete obliterated.
