On the point of a Fundraise RAH, IF it were to happen then it would probably be at a circa 10 percent discount and be RNSed around the time of clinical data for a much higher SP. So why……. Does it put the fear of god into the market? Fund raising with an aim to take what (we hope) is a revolutionary delivery system through to market is not bad news.

I don’t think a fund raise will actually happen. I agree with RAH on his points on licensing. But the spooking of the market is down to something that isn’t actually bad!

I sold 600k. Still have a little more than half that so need sp back to 10p :) It might just happen and I could always just back in here if I haven't reallocated the cash too soon.

We have a winner!!!! And it’s Derek! Hahaha. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. Myself, Bein, RD, PL et al gave not once said it works. We’ve said the signs are very positive and we need data. If it worked we’d be £20 quid by now. It works when the DOCTORS say it works. It doesn’t matter how promising something looks, and obviously people in critical condition would want it but if there was an adverse event other than them passing away, how would you show it wasn’t linked to AVA6000 without trial data? Answer is you couldn’t. It would then be canned and all for the sake of having no patience. People will continue to die as a result of cancer. AVA6000 may save millions of lives over time. It will do so when it’s proven to do so. And no sooner.

You have to admit it’s a great angle isn’t it. Get the heavily invested to suggest it doesn’t work by coming up with the absolute dumbest idea of all time. Completely ignore the knowledge of a combined one million years of knowledge amongst Drs because some punk with a monetary interest (well…. In it’s failure) has decided they know best and we should just inject the whole world with it, just in case.

We don’t know it works do we you complete prat. We know it’s safe and that is it. This gung ho jump the gun attitude one year into clinical studies would lead to a lot of people being very dead if it was a wide spread practice. I don’t want studies to go on forever, obviously, but I’m not so money mad or pig headed in my opinion that it’ll work that I want them to spaff it out the gates before they know what it actually does.

Why not just give everyone a drug that isn’t fully understood? Good…… one.

Have to add I think the answer to both is yes. The 4th cohort and “emerging safety and tolerability profile” as AS put it means it mustn’t be activating outside the tumour. The trial continuing seems to indicate it is activating to some degree or it wouldn’t be ethical to continue. Now it’s just by how much. And for AS to say yes, it’s safe and effective.

You’re dead right Bein. Does it activate? And is it primarily in the tumour? If the answer to both is yes then that’s it. Data can follow.

Agreed Bein. It needs to give a nod to it working. Not just a progressing well bit of lip service. “Ava6000 activating primarily within the tumour with very little activation outside of the tumour with minimal side effects being shown” type thing with “data to follow” would be blooming marvellous. A nod to “licensing agreements in discussion” would go a long way too. Just a bit of certainty.

There’s absolutely no reason why he can’t give us an insight within the update. But I think it’ll be along the lines of progressing well, excellent agent and tolerability profile. Progressing as expected. I don’t think we’ll get actual data. Something like “comparible results to animal studies” would be mind blowing. But I think that’s the best we can expect/hope for.
