Anyone know if the ticker for Sylvania Platinum will change when he listing commences on Wednesday?

What did you make of the results? Turnover increasing but dissapointing bottom line. Net asset value pretty much bang on the current Mkt Cap, and £22M in the bank so no requirement for funding for a while.

Quite the opposite I would hope! If you read the director's reccomendations for the scheme you will note the major benefits such as admin. costs savings and greater exposure to North American interests etc..

Yes, it's in relation to SLV redomiciling to bemuda -see below "On 26 November 2010, the Directors of Sylvania Resources Limited (Sylvania Resources or the Company) announced the Company's intention to redomicile from Australia to Bermuda. Under the Redomicile proposal, all existing shares in Sylvania Resources will be exchanged for shares in Sylvania Platinum Limited (Sylvania Platinum), a company that has been incorporated in Bermuda to become the new holding company for the Sylvania Group. It is proposed that the Redomicile will be effected by a scheme of arrangement between Sylvania Resources and its members."" Check the website for further details. You should also have been able to vote on this a while back if you were a shareholder then.

With all the heavy buying over the last week or so, surprised this hasn't risen more. Get the feeling this is being kept in a tight trading range for a Takeover. hmm...........................

Up $0.03 to $0.80. Equiv. price as the current Bid 50p

Up 7% today so far. Two big trades of 250k at 50p gone through. looks like its been dropped to pick up buy orders

well the market doesn't seem to impressed, all sells and now in the red!

Marvelous! My second largest holding here so long may the rise continue. Lets hope the results exceed the markets expectations and we get a further leap. J LP also up over 12% last two days, can't see both these rises purely down the the price of platinum shooting up......
