The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Hi all those that are invested here. I am new to this share, and moved the little money I had left after investing in a company called Bidstack, that went in to administration, and the major shareholders then decided to buy the company back from the administrator's at a very discounted value, and left us small retail shareholders scr@@ed!
I was invested in a junior miner called SolGold, a while back, and they did really well, and was wondering if anyone here was or are still invested in SolGold, or are aware of them, can give their opinion on how this share compares with SolGold? Thanks.
DITTO! I, just like you was invested in Fitbug, and pulled out after losing a fair amount. I then, put my money, my 11 year old daughters, and my mother's in Bidstack. We had invested heavily here, in excess of around £150,000. Tha majority bought when it was around 30p per share. I pulled out when the stock plummeted, and between us only got around £5,000 back on my £150,000 invested!! I hope and pray that karma comes and bites these selfish p@@@@s!!
Simply gutted, and lost for word. I have not only lost my money, and it is in excess of £100k, but my daughters and my mothers. In total I have lost over £200k! In I made a cowboy error of putting my eggs in one basket, so lost all our life savings! Not sure if this is a positive, but I came out a week before this was suspended, and took out the £2k I had remaining. I should have known better from the offset, as the same thing happened when I was invested in Fit Bug. When Fit Bug went under, Bidstack was then born, and Draper has now repeated history and scammed the investors, in my opinion!
Sorry, yes I stand corrected.
Here is my investment. In fact it was June 2019 when I first bought in after selling my investment in SOLG. I was also in Fit Bug.

Not that I should be proving anything to anyone. that's why I don't contribute on this forum. Most are quick to get the knife out.
Hi all, I'm not a de-ramper or a ramper, I am just someone who has invested to make money.
I invested, what to me was a huge amount around 2017/2018, when this was at above 30p. So as you can imagine, I'm sitting on a huge loss, but have lowered my average of late.
When BIDS was at over 30p, it had a market cap of over £200 million, and this was without any concrete news or contracts.
So my question is, now that BIDS is starting to develop and build new contracts, what is the realistic share price and market cap for BIDS?
Did someone echo my name. Over £100k invested when this was around 30p!! So no point asking me anything lol.
My average is now 19p, just to breakeven :-(
My life saving of £130k plus almost evaporated.
My daughters savings since birth of £40k plus, almost evaporated.
My 78 year old mothers life savings of £80k plus, almost evaporated.
I am just lost and have no words at all!!!
Yes, people will say, why put your eggs in one basket, and I have no answer!!
Not a bad finish at all!!
Wow, now if we do hit those prices, then I will spend 6 months in Vegas to celebrate LOL ;-)
Tonyshu, I am in the same boat as you, but slightly lower at 32! And I bought in heavy at 32, over 100K in not quantity of shares but in pounds!!
I now Helx was also in the same boat, but his approach was not very nice, and took a very negative approach, which made him many enemies. I just stayed quite, as I have always had faith. But still have a long way to go.
This article is a good read.

Hi Wilson63, what a difference 12 hours can make!! From being the lowest of the low yesterday, to almost jumping up and down in joy!!
Appreciate you taking time out to send this message.
Hope you and everyone else have a great Christmas and New Years.
True. It is a shame that some people use these BB's for their own gratification. I can also understand people being influenced by this. I for one do not post on here much at all, simply because of these reasons. I try my best to be influenced by what the market has to say and from what the company has to say via an RNS.
I for one, would never ramp or de-ramp, but that is my nature. Guess not everyone is the same. if they were, the world would be boring.
That might be their motive (to ramp and de-ramp). However, I just cannot see the market or a company being influenced by what is said on a BB.
Hi Matador78, thanks for the offer of a chat, do not have twitter.
I have reflected on things and calmed down. There are people in far worse situations around the world.
I think I simply need to switch off from here and, like my name says, be patient.
I have a 2 week holiday coming up with the family, so that will help take my mind off this.
Thank you all. Urgently need to talk to a friend or two. I need to some how see the light at the end of this very dark tunnel.
Really appreciate all the kind words of support.
I'm in tears! Feel so low and deflated. Not only ruined my investment, but also my families! Feel like jumping of a bridge right now.
Greed I guess. Got drawn in to the fact that it was flying at the time. It went from around 3p to 30p in no time. I was stupid to think that this was just the start to something special. Thought If it could go to 30p with hardly any significant news, it would surely climb even further with news of contracts.
Apart from my £130k I also put all my daughters money and my 76 year old mothers money in to BIDS.
I have lost so much! Simply heartbroken and devastated!
Cannot believe what has happened! I pulled out of SOLG to invest £130k here! Bought the majority at around 30p!! I am shattered right now. Simply do not know what to do.
This is like history repeating itself. I lost a huge amount when FITBUG went bust and these clowns bought it.
