Considering 7p for dividend and its today. Only down 1.7p. So we are up today?

I just want to say i'm glad price recovered but i'm happy at these prices when dividend is being reinvested

Just sold and asset for 1.5billion. Great price considering. About quarter value of the co. So thats why i said about this value. More sales to come but not a firesale. Just at the right price. Which is music to my ears ! These fundementals should help stablize and push bit higher. All a good sign. For me anyway. A

We are closer to £4 than £2.50! The results dont seem to be spectacular but i guess the market & Pedrob expected much worse ! Happy enough for a 4% rise in a day. Better than in a bank for a whole 4 years. Oh yeah plus 2 dividends so far at just under 2%. So thats a real rise of around 8% just this year. Interesting that BP's cost cutting scheme saved 4.7B and they aim for 7B by 2017 which is well on track and thats the cost of div too! It looks like they are doing all possible to maintain it. Good enough reaults in this enviroment and not the 'bloodbath"some hoped for. Sorry.

As im a very long term minded investor i could say now. I dont do timing but i stopped buying when prices kept jumping. My view was always to collect dividends if your looking at that kinda time frame now would be okay aswell. Someone that studies charts like Corlis and does well probally got a better insight for trades and ups and downs. If its going to hit £12 now is fine too. Market will always correct over valued and under valued. What we predicted is probally when fundamentals pick up aswell. May drop a little more thats a guess more than anything.

Will be interesting , yes a very low price but downstream breaks even at 17$ barrel and the trading. Dont expect fireworks but for once do expect results with no more spill provisioning? They did a lot of deals lately too. To early to see that influence but maybe some signs. May also give us an indication for dividends. So alot to look for but alot to be cautious on. Will be interesting!

Doing well as an investment for BP. Though Russian governmwnt who holds just under 70% is thinking to sell most of their shares. We'll see. Steady rises here. Going up every so slow but thats okay. Always prefer a lower price for my dividend reinvestments.

Yes sir! Agree with most of what you say and think we can all agree you been very consistent with your predictions! Im more of a long term investor so i was buying for dividends and im sure it was yourself that answered me. But anyway i'll consider a sale at £12. As i have that price in my head, some gentleman earlier said my value is £10.19. I think that is a fair value for this company from all i read but what im looking for is the market to eventually over value this share too. So i'll look for £15.60 - £18 (purely £18) based on your crystal ball though it may take time. I can wait. After my gain I'll buy some dividend share like Astra thats also why i see you on BP. Ever heard of compounding? Dividend re investment? Thats what im building over the comming years..

I would love to believe you and admit 13 billion is conservative but more based on the environment for commodities. I hope your correct do you think £18 is a lot and how long do you think? I would only sell to buy Astrazenca for dividends because its my strategy , kinda misplaced here but saw an opportunity. Anyway Corlis38 you already know i have high regards for your charting abilities just pushing for that info why you think that? Would love to see £20, for me and everyone here and for Sachs too. (Who btw reported a huge decline on trading) Never trust the so called experts , its the first thing i learned @ everyone!

Dont know who said they are richer or poorer i just mentioned some are and some are not as a reference to some words in capitals aimed at one poster. I agree with most of what you say though personal slander on any level shouldnt be here. I been here since 2006 and never had this on almost any baotd i been to. I always try to check these comments but to be honest. It ho a miss and i wont miss much analysis. Probally better with montey fools. I wish admin could cleanup this board!
