to be fair to zak mir, how was he supposed to know hg-ct1 would do exactly what we all hoped? i’ve been here a few years and have told many people about hemo. even a couple (husband and wife) of bio-chemists and when i first told them, they looked at me with a mixture of disbelief and mirth. i’m a gas engineer by trade, so why would i know anything about immunotherapy? they’re bio-chemists ffs and i was teaching them to suck eggs. i saw them last back in may at a bbq, and after them taking the **** a bit about my ‘investment’ (big lols), i finally convinced them to look into hemo. even after doing their own research, they still didn’t quite believe the usp of hg-ct1. frankly, they were more excited about cbr being able to cross the blood-brain barrier, the nerds. they did eventually invest at just over a fiver. my point is, if they didn’t believe in hemo, or at least doubted the claims around hg-ct1, how can you expect zak mir to believe it? to him it was a ‘shiite or bust’ gamble.

If it’s years, then Hemo have gone it on their own and would be a multi-billion dollar Pharma corp anyway.

I’m not sure it’ll be this year like some have said as well have only injected maybe another two, maybe three patients. One of course being paediatric. But get positive results from the first child treated, and this goes stratospheric. Imho of course.

PurpleKenny, and that would be an investor’s mistake. Not that it’ll be months before a deal with Big Pharma, because it surely will. These billion dollar deals aren’t sorted within weeks. However, it only takes 24 hours from someone in R&D at one of the big pharmacy companies to pick a phone, initiate talks and trading getting suspended until a deal is thrashed out. Obviously there would be rumours before this, I’m not daft, but the humble private investor won’t hear these rumours.

Aldemoron and NotPosting should be in wrestling, as they think they’re some sort of tag-team. I’m not exactly sure what their motive is though as it’s certainly not trying to protect innocent and vulnerable private investors from the evil Pharma company trying to find a cure for human blood diseases.

Considering the apparent long lead time from taking blood to manufacture the HG-CT1 cells, why is it more feasible, especially in the short term, to set up a processing Lab in Estonia, rather than process in the U.S and fly it back?

I’m sure it must have something to do with cell depletion but with my T.V medical based training (I’ve watched House…) can’t cryogenic storage solve this?

Or is it legislative in that to qualify for Estonian funding, the health company has to be based there?

@Let it roll. I think your cost per treatment is a little on the low side. The upfront set-up costs in Estonia will need to be mitigated and, as an innovative drug this will be expensive, as there is no economy of scale. So I’m thinking over $300k for each treatment. Then what is the cut for Cellin? Is it a fifty fifty split or is it $100k per treatment? A lot of the meat was missing from the interview, which will become more apparent as talks with the Estonian Health Fund progress.

All in all though, quite a good update. A lot better than those Proactive Investor car crash interviews with Redmond in his care home.

Only because it gives investors a true timeline of key performance indicators. Six months at least before Estonia is up and running and no mention of potential Big Pharma involvement.

It looks like Vlad is quite happy to go it alone, which will run contrary to a lot of short term investor’s hopes. Long term, I think it’s the best decision, as an $6-8bn independent Co, is better than being bought out for $1-2bn over the next twelve months. To be honest, I’d be happy with either. However, it means those with short attention spans pulling their money out until more progress news is released. 4th patient hasn’t been treated yet and we haven’t even got approval for paediatric trials yet.
