Larry really should consider his position if he doesn't achieve a decent farm-out and S' is a duster. He's got nothing right in the last five years. I'd even class his tenure as being catastrophic. Still, at least a deal can be signed right up to just before release of results....What Larry, say that again? Because that sounds like no deal is about to be signed any time soon...

...it all comes down to how much the market trusts Larry and our Bod's, to either be truthful about the progress of farm-ins, and/or the possibility of a near term fund raise. Looks like 'not much' at the moment.

Can you list the deals with 'majors on great terms' that Larry has achieved?

I was going to do my calculations over a 300 day year but then I'd have to include a downtime cost variable, of which I have no clue. That's why I only assumed a five time earnings multiple and not a more flighty 7 or 8 times. The investment case is still appears solid but this is AIM. I've been invested in companies with the world at their feet and pound signs in our eyes, only for an inexplicable fund raise to happen that diluted pi holdings by 60%.

That would be most helpful. In the meantime, purely fag packet calculations... it's roughly 800 tonnes per day (25,000 p/m), 6 cpht, £362 per carat. 6x8x362 = £17,376 ...minus £5600 processing costs. Net £11,776 per day...So at 364 working days, assuming no downtime, that's £4,298,000 p/a. If we also assume a modest five times earning multiple as a m/cap (£21,150,000), that's 10p per share, without further dilution. Not bad, not bad at all.

...what am I missing? I came across BRD a few weeks ago, have completed some light reading and on the face of it, seems like a decent punt. I compare BRD to other miners on AIM who aren't even close to producing a return and some are 2 or 3 times the M.Cap value of BRD. The missing piece I'm struggling to find is the cost per processed tonne. No point investing in a company earning £100 an hour, if their costs are £101 an hour.
