Expected a decision by now, if I'm being honest and seeing the RNS flashing on my screen got me all hot and bothered. Oh well, off to work I go...!

"They have stated profitability would be achieved with 10,000 carats per annum, which looks well on course for 2019. A 350k tonne / 4 cpht estimate for 2019 would be 14,000 carats, which would equate to $1.4m profit. 400k tonnes at 5 cpht would be 20,000 carats, and $3.5m profit. I would expect those to be the rough ranges for the 2019 estimate.

Should BRD be looking at a top end £3.5m annual profit, then I don't believe a £10-£15m mCap would be unexpected. If they then invested that wisely in other prospects that are 'not large enough for the big boys' then the sky is the limit.

That would give a gross output of approx £6.5m-£8m a year....and our mCap is what? :D

Seems criticism of this failing company and its incompetent BoD's, is too much for the snow flakes on here.

If there are then 2019 is shit or bust for the humble pi. Any further fund raises below 0.5p will destroy any remaining private investor holdings. However, I remain hopeful that after the last fundraiser, that BRD is now fully funded until operational profitability. Only my opinion of course.

Interesting to look at the comparisons between Firestone's Lesotho and BRD. Firestones cpht is 22 which is roughly four times more than BRD (@4.5cpht), yet BRD's per carat value is nearly five times greater ($75 vs $360). The Lesotho mine has a 9 year lifespan which is similar to BRD (also incorporating pipe five). BRD are largely debt free yet Firestone are $30m in debt and are issuing shares in payment of interest to service that loan. The shocking thing is the mCap. BRD = £1.3m vs FDI = £19.5m.
FDI do have a larger accumulative resource from other prospects but I know which company I'd rather be in.

The aim for 2019 surely has to become self sustaining. Given the 30% increase in cpht than what was projected has got to be a huge leap towards that goal. Having a mCap of £1.2m is absolutely ludicrous. There are exploration miners out there with no confirmed resource, with Caps of £4m and more. Crazy times.

Lol...I try not to think about it Goon'. I spent most of the following day watching Arsenal Fan TV on Youtube. Watching them having a melt down made me feel a little better, but not much. We've been a disaster since :'( I can't believe Larry hasn't been given the bullet. It makes me think that the decision to go it alone was made by Adonis. It couldn't be Larry on his own. Maybe they just got greedy and lost perspective.

You still persevering with this shower Growl? I still have an 'interest here' but value wise, it's not worth stressing about anymore. To think, my investment was once worth £45k. If I was alone in a room with Old Larry, well the outcome wouldnt bear considering. Anyway, as I see it, the only thing keeping this company afloat is cash in the bank. That is quickly being eroded through extravagant operating costs, expenditures and salaries. The cash call will come again and with the sp being this low, we'll be looking at a billion shares in issue within 18-24 months. Maybe they'll get a farm-out in Brazil but with Bottomley's track record, can you see it being on favourable terms?

But Connie was on about her investment which is based on the purchase of her shares. What part are you having difficulty with because I'll make the words easier to understand for you?

What? Twelve months ago the sp was 2.5p. It's now 0.29p...that's an 88% drop just there. What was the sp flotation price? Then compare that with today. That should give you close to 99% value destruction.

Touché! :)) However, the majority of companies on AIM have no turnover at all, debt and many hundreds of millions more shares in issue.

...how many companies on AIM do you know that have a turnover greater than their market cap value? Madness...! :)

This is exactly the same position Chariot found itself in 3 years ago. 4.9p, $15m in the bank and no farm-in partners to drill with. With a partner in Brazil and a possible free carry in Mauritania, this could hit 12-15p. But then Larry would dilute quicker than a Korean hand-job. So it'll be about timing an exit. Probably around 9p. That'll recover all my losses plus a bit more. Optimistic maybe but doable. Wish we could get shot of Larry though. First class tool....
