Ww , yes most are for the Tories and rightly so , but Truss did stuff the markets but had the the right idea in cutting taxes but shouldn`t have borrowed the money to do it , she should have started by cutting some of the benefits as some now are getting more money on benefits than some going to work ,

Some are Labour supports here and like the way they operate , here is what Gordon Brown did to final pension funds , Well Labour did very well ruining a lot of peoples final salary pensions , infact the stealth tax was so bad it took few Billion more than they thought they were going to take , Brown managed to get to the tune of £118 billion off the pension funds from 1997 to 2014, quite a sum out of peoples pensions ,

Whats up with this BB , it seems full of Labour rubbish , just remember the last general election , the city was more worried about Labour getting to power than Brexit , yeah I remember when Labour were in power OMG , the few on here have forgotten the world went on a stand still for 2 years now the war in Ukraine which has caused the 10.1% inflation , of course there are problems in the Tory party at the moment but would be 10X worse under Labour ,

Winstanley , If you are a Labour voter or were old enough when Labour came to power they had a full money pot when Blair came to power and Gordon Brown , Brown sold the Gold at rock bottom prices , and ruined pension funds that are very rocky even today from his damage , when the tories took power Labour left the money pot empty , no disasters but just spent and borrowed , you seem to forget the world had stopped because of covid , also the war in Ukraine , I would super hate to see what Labour would have done in the same position , of course I am not happy what Truss has done but even worse if Labour were in power , i bet most on here wouldn`t sleep at night if they were .

Gazzleberry , A small car would have been fine but they used the funds for a big motorhome , i don`t knock the disabled but the money is spent wrongly , they also have their own small car which they use for day to day life , the system is wrong but hey if you think it is ok then ummmm .

Gazzleberry , Sadly no there are many cases that need sorting out with the benefit system , my daughters neighbour was able to have a car allowance because had a disability , what he did was put the money that would be used to buy a small car to get about but was able use use to buy a motorhome for holidays , when someone phoned up about it they were told he was in his rights , there are many other cases i know and the benefit system needs changing then the govt could make tax start instead of 12k but 15k , good to help the working people .

Even going back 40 plus years ago , i worked on a site a guy pulled up in his car and said to the site manager can you pay this amount for a carpenter the site manager said you get union rate like the rest of the site , he said that is less than i am getting so can you sign this to prove i came here , the site manager phone the benefit office and said i need carpenters and this guy left , the guy in the benefit office said you are paying less than we give him so he can refuse it , the site manager said there is also overtime at double rate weekends and evening time and a half , the guy said he doesn`t have to know about overtime and that was that the guy was getting a living without going to work , there are thousand doing the same today ,

WW , the difference about Ukraine that is a war zone , UK and like Philippines are not as for poverty , as for Ukraine where the Russian are they are stealing the Ukraines food , also eating their pets ,the russians have 7 year old rations and first aid gear dated 1983 in their kit , the news here don`t really show what is happening there but it is dreadful we see bombed builds and cars etc , I got a ticking off on Facebook putting up video`s of the war as it was against their rules so i had to share via messenger , the Ukraines are super brave .

Poverty is different in all countries , you can be in the UK and get your rent paid , council tax paid , get given cash , they will have smart phones , tv flat screens , dental paid , prescriptions paid and many other benefits like free school meals , and food banks , or you look at Philippines where i have a lot of friends , they get nothing , if you don`t have a job you don`t eat , you only cook by finding wood to burn , when they had a typhoon and it pulled their house down or roof off they got told they can have £50 but when they went to claim there was no cash and you had to live with a hole in your roof until you come up with the money to fix , thats poverty , every meal can be a bowl of rice with some fish paste to get a flavor or you miss a meal for a day or 2 so your kids get food , when they hear what poverty is here in UK they think i am lying , then they realise i am not .

Theosus , amazing footage on this war now , the Ukraines are taking out so much equipment out , even the equipment in the forests they can`t hide , the drones can highlight any equipment back that the drone sees as hostile , also the amount of Generals and top commanders that have been taken out is a bit unheard of , something seriously going wrong with the Russian forces .
