wanderinggon , 1 for 15 is way to many to consolidate , Barclay had a share price of around £6 and they split them one for 2 , not many folk would want a £7 share unless it was now lol,

MM`s crashed the price this morning to take shares off the weak , they had orders to fill and when they got the shares they needed they took it straight back up , some people are going to check their shares tonight and see them sold from their stop loses . onwards and upwards .

67Sam , I would think it surprised a lot of shareholders buying Embark , but reading the RNS Lloyds are uping their stakes in the investment market with supporting Scotish Widows platform , but they are also going to keep working along side , BlackRock and Franklin Templeton ,
I just see the move is to strenthen their position in the the investment market but backing up what they have already have got ,
Lloyds paid 390 million so they have paid quite a lot and will want a good return ,

PSK , yes but like wicked said it has gone up 25% which is good , but we needed to see the half yearly results which we have now , they were very good so i would expect the SP nearer 55 to 60p but it takes time because profit takers , day traders , but we should get a jump which may well happen when the new CEO takes his place and announces a special divi , but I do see 50p pre the CEO taking his post .

wicked , I think it has quite a bit more to give but you are right it has done well , i am thinking 55 to 60 to become a fairer share price IMO

WW , SP is to cheap with the amount of money they are making , soon enough it will jump just a matter of when .

Soon enough the message will get about that Lloyds have such a slush fund that it will have to be dished out to shareholders , if they didn`t they would have well over 10 billion by next June and the larger shareholders would wonder what the hell is going on , Lloyds is now a serious money making machine , how much is the investment bank making that Lloyds have just bought , this year I cn see a big Special Divi annouced when the new CEO takes his position

Thats why you don`t want to get into big rounds at the bar ,you have a couple of ladies drinking wine as the barperson says large or small and you don`t want to look tight so you say large , cost 10 quid a glass and 2 beers over a fiver each you done over 30 quid , come on Lloyds we need to top our glasses up , lollol

I think any special divi will be told by the new CEO , he would want to put that sort of good news out himself , as mentioning before that there could be a sum of around 7 billion end of the year , even with a buy back there could easily support a 2p divi and keep some cash back for a rainy day the last divi was small but they did mention a special divi later in the year . what folk also need to remember lloyds have bought an investment bank that will be making money ,

Brixton , very few make bundles on AIM you think you are on a winner then the company dilute , if it`s an oil share if it hits a duster the SP goes down 50% , the problem then is the AIM share goes into a couple of pennies and very rarely recover because they become unloved by shareholders , I have seen people lose serious money and i mean 250k over night near enough , many 100k over night , cheap and cheerful , , some make it but very few .

The last half yearly figures were very good , Lloyds spent near a billion on an investment bank , they also gave shareholders quite a small divi ,so that leaves a large sum of cash in the bank , in December Lloyds would have made another massive amount and no PPI penalties to pay any more , there could be a cash pot of near 7 Billion , there could be a large Special divi in the pipeline and a buy back or just a large Special divi

Metom , The news feed coming through now is making RR a game changer , what with the Nuclear news , the 2 RNS`s today , results tomorrow , also we will have news hopefully on the ITC soon on a deal , we should see the Hedge fund and pension funds start buying big here .GLA

2 good RNS`s today before half yearly results tomorrow all looking very promising , I have a good feeling this is going to jump a bit tomorrow
