Some seem confused here. The company presentation shows material “bagged up and ready to dispatch” – that simply means mined and stockpiled. It does not mean revenue. Under IFRS, revenue is only booked once the gold is actually sold and the buyer takes control. The half-year accounts to 30 June 2025 clearly show nil revenue and nil cost of sales, so although ore was mined and bagged, it had not yet been sold in that period. Bagged does not equal sold.

That’s not correct. Under IFRS, once ore is mined and processed into a measurable stockpile it becomes inventory – exactly the same principle as buying cars to sell. The cost of extraction (labour, fuel, processing, etc.) is capitalised into inventory on the balance sheet and only flows into cost of sales when the gold is sold. It’s not true to say “you don’t know what it’s worth” – the accounting treatment uses the cost of production, not an assumed sales value. That’s why the half-year shows nil revenue but plenty of operating activity: the mined material is sitting in stock, carried as an asset, waiting to be realised in sales.

Report makes it clear:

“Revenue is recognised… when goods are delivered and title has passed.”

And in the accounts:

“Sale of minerals…” (H1 2025).

So yes they mined/processed pre-rains, but nothing was sold in the period. Output likely stockpiled/refiner-held, hence nil revenue — just timing.

Keep an eye out for the directors deals and a further corporate presentation …

@ranger, I say this because I don’t mind reading your posts - they are light hearted and sometimes funny. I realise you are only interested in this share, and squeeze in your daily negative posts around your day job (selling solar panels / batteries) but I worry you are way off here. This will surprise lots over the coming weeks, and I hope you have been averaging down over the past few weeks / months, because you won’t get a better opportunity again. Just trying to help 👍🏻

We’re in a closed period pre-interims now, so it’s quiet – but October is set to be news-rich. Likely sequence:

- Early Oct – corporate update / investor-style presentation

- Mid Oct – directors’ deals (IMO possibly part salary in shares) + confirmation of new IIs / TR1s

- Late Oct into Nov – key updates on Tesoro restart (contractor, mine plan, ore transport)

- Then Nov – mining recommencement target

Add in the GM outcome this week + warrants going live, and the path is clear: quiet now, but October/November is stacked with catalysts. Exciting times ahead!!

Placing RNS today clears a lot of the noise. £400k at 0.45p – at market, not a discount – that alone tells you there’s appetite here. On AIM, you almost never see a raise done flat to the screen.

The proceeds cover Tesoro mine planning + working capital, so yes, it’s not the La Patona build or full tailings rollout yet – that’s phase 2.

But the key is this:

- Vote passes Friday = cash in, warrants live, 6–9 months of headroom.

- That gets Tesoro restarted, contractor secured, ore moved.

- La Patona margins (+25–35%) and the 243k oz tailings then line up behind it.

- Balance sheet already cleaned with the €10m bond restructure, no repayments hanging over.

So “fully funded” = funded to restart Tesoro and prove the model. That’s the trigger. After that, more serious money steps in for the plant and tailings. From a £1–2m mcap, the risk/reward is obvious. GLA

There's so much to love here; but please note that the mining team in Peru are already set up and waiting for the call to proceed. Re-commencement asap and possibly before Nov IMO
