Good to see buybacks again yesterday. If DEC maintains them daily, the confidence will return.

The share went down due to short sellers. They let people buy into the good trading update. Then sent through constant small sells. They then bought back in the same way. Making a small % profit but a good amount when you deal in the such large volumes. Each time DEC climbs, they repeat their despicable action. They also spread lies and fear to get even bigger wins. In any other walk if life, these blood suckers would end up in prison. But for some strange reason the UK authorities think it's acceptable to let them destroy good businesses and ruin small investors for the success of a few rich and greedy leeches.

Everyday starts with optimism and then boom, regular.as clockwork, the low volume short.sells. Easy money for the leeches to suck out of the SP. DEC have to commit to a regular BB policy. Also give a dividend intention for at least 12 months

Lets face it, DEC remains a boring cash cow. Predictable results with no good or bad surprises. The SP should reflect that like it had before this year. Crazy how a few untrue rumours can cause so much destruction to the SP.

The cash is there to maintain the dividend.

Fossil Fuels up today. DEC down ☹️ The absence of buybacks has allowed the shorters to pull the SP back down.

DEC may be able to keep wells going longer than others. Not seeing the need for a high volume from each one but a high volume from all combined. Hence why they have so many.

Some positive media reports on DEC almost daily now. I'd expect that to continue up until the results. If the board come out fighting, we could see this explode. Shorts will quickly close. Dividend chasers will get onboard. Big US investors should also pick it up.

Hopefully gas prices will continue to rise

At what point does a shorter start closing, pushing up the SP further. Which shorter will blink first?

Well done to all those who bought this morning. If the SP continues to climb at pace, the shorters may be in big trouble. So funny if they have to buy the shares back for a massive loss 🥳

Now DEC needs large scale buybacks

GG you really are boring. DEC is not in danger of going out of business. Not unless you have invented solar that works in the dark and/or a wind turbine that works on a calm day. Gas is needed for a long time to come. DEC has a lot of it in pre-drilled and already rigged locations. Losing the FTSE 250 status will impact the SP further and their ability to raise capital via the markets. They will soon question if its worth being part of the markets. Or they can attack back with facts and a very positive outlook, including a confirmation that the dividend will remain at the current level for at least 12 months.

Not much more of a market cap drop and DEC is danger of losing the FTSE 250 place.

If dividend reduction is the latest excuse to short DEC. All DEC has to do is issue a statement saying that the intention is to keep the dividend at the current level for the next 12 months. Easy win.

Seriously, Rusty has to go and let someone with some enthusiasm take over. DAILY Buyback and company promotion needed NOW!
