The more you think about this and the potential upside from so many angles the SP just seems stupidly cheap. Keep adding more but the more research you do the more I think about selling every other share I own and going all in. What’s worst case here only 5% of the new discoveries are recoverable ? Still got to mean £1 minimum if the MF is sorted out and cashflow is good. I just can’t see the SP in the teens happening again.
Come on I think you have missed the point $100 certainly doesn’t buy you what it did in 2013/14 (last time oil was $100). Using the Feds own inflation calculator like with like would be $120 bbl not $100 and even then that’s generous. So inflation adjusted which you must do we are nowhere near real $100 oil - something like 50% of all dollar creation EVER took place over the last 2 yrs.
Comeonvog 100 dollar oil will be very helpful, it’s actually then only half of its previous high (inflation adjusted (2008/2009). Oil has a long way to go, maybe people will stop buying $7 Starbucks and modify their spending behaviours as oil is essential. There is also the contribution that the oil industry makes to the supply chain and and the high salaries paid. 200$ will kill the economy not $100. The inflation we are experiencing right now only makes real assets such as copl more valuable.
You have to wonder if yesterday was a coordinated attempt to spread false information to generate panic sells after all fear breeds fear. Nothing has changed AM has a vast amount of options to choose from to maximise the billions of dollars of value from copl. Lenders will be happy to lend at low rates based on the NPV of the asset should he not JV or we get sold.
Assuming Copl have 1% of US proven reserves based on 2020 figures with a current mkt cap of circa £70m we could say that the value of all US reserves are currently £7bn. This is clearly an insane valuation and shows how much upside there is to come.
Assuming Copl can get proven reserves of 500mil barrels the company will own 1.4% of the ENTIRE oil reserves in the United States. Anyone care to tell me I’m wrong? This must mean £500mil mkt cap is coming in the next few weeks :)

Once the CPR is out and hypothetically it says 500 mil recoverable reserves should we not move to a minimum MKT cap of £500mil regardless of what art does ? that’s only pricing the reserves at £1/$1.35 in the ground… seems like there are are a few here downplaying what’s been found. It’s not like OIP of 250 mil and 20% recoverable. It may take the market time to catch up but the majors could just buy every share and take over COPL that way - the shares are traded on open market and everyone has a price.
Anyone got any ideas what happens to the SP if Ryder Scott confirm 500 million barrels of recoverable oil or more ? Looking at their website it would seem that their information for the report is based on working extensively with copl and therefore it can’t be too far off what has already been declared…
If anyone thinks the COPL SP is too high and therefore the MKT cap just think about this for a minute - SYME the joke company with absolutely nothing to back it up has a HIGHER market capitalisation!
I predict a huge rally of 50% here in the not too distant future back to .21. Once Rolls Royce is monetised and IMed and tony brown from down town NYC monetises the macys Thanksgiving parade we can do another 50% back to .3 of one penny. The future is bright the future is syme.
