I think the GE deal was very good, mainly we did it at the right time and had favourable contingent conditions (Waldorf purchase of cairn assets completed at the similar time for comparison)

CNOOC have screwed up at GE I think. The problem with non operated assets.

It’s a slow motion move but I really can’t see any justification for this market cap. Scott240 is a bit much, but 8p is probably closer to fair value IMHO. Might take years to get there but eventually I believe it will

£19m decomm spend was expected so I would suggest that there will be at least another £5-7m spent on decomm in 2023.

We were only told about decomm in November and they managed to spunk £12.7m in 2022. Why were shareholders not told about these expenses earlier?

As you know, any work that requires rigs and vessels can get very expensive very quickly.

Do you know how energy intensive bitumen is?? It has to constantly be kept hot and any excess is chucked at the end of a shift.

As we know, kraken crude oil is not bitumen. It has a very high diesel fraction which is going to be needed for at least the next 2 decades, and can actually be used directly as VLSFO for shipping. Also not being decarbonised any time soon. This is a much greener option than refining other crudes.
