As you say seems to be historically the graphene revolution in general has been slow.

Have there been any forecasts made for sales / revenues?

Seems they don’t expect to be profitable within the next 2 years given the recent fundraise and runway that provides. I guess I am struggling to understand what the size of the prize is. What are the companies ambitions.

I am hoping not Therapist as that would indicate we have had some problems with approx 20 day since last offload by the time it leaves K.

I was hopeful that we are in a planned maintenance shutdown which would likely mean a longer delay but mean the good 15 day cycle is intact.

From what I have read these swaps are used as short term bets. So helicon have swapped cash (or another asset) for ENQ shares. If ENQ goes up in price then the other party will have to pay helicon the percentage increase. If it goes down then helicon will owe the other party the percentage decrease plus a borrowing charge.

So helicon think the price will go up and the other party think the price will go down.

There might be periodic dates before expiry where payments will be due.

A fair compromise would be to have strong targets for lifetime carbon emissions. This would encourage use of existing infrastructure and the HUB models. Also any new field could be required to be electrified and renewables powered.

Chris - it’s not difficult to update companies house. The Gneiss association is big problem for SCIR IMHO.

Several countries have banned exploration and new licences. For me this could be a more reasonable approach than pulling the rug from under international investors.

One thing that did concern me a little is the vast number of applications they talk about. Maybe fair enough as the model is to work with others, but just seemed a little desperate. Throw it all at the wall and see what sticks.

Car wax I tend to think is a gimmick and certainly doesn’t seem to be a big revenue generator.

Coatings seem like a good one (based on the image of the commercial building roofing). If it can extend the life of assets then it will certainly be a winner. Do need to convince people to use it though. It can be tricky to change established procedures.

The revenue figure is not good for a company that is 10 years old.

Agree, CNE are in the driving seat here and can get a sensible settlement.

I seriously doubt it will be on the governments stated terms of tax refund only.

CNE have suffered damages and there will be an element of redress for this in the settlement in my opinion.

The new law gets rid of most of these cases but CNE are at a point in the process that they have leverage to get a better deal. It is going to get very embarrassing for GoI if they lose air India planes and other assets abroad. They have already been found liable for damages and costs.

I’ve made it through the latest presentation (thoroughly boring), and just have a few questions. My usual interest and knowledge is in oil and gas so apologies if these are stupid questions.

Is this business based on selling high volumes of graphene? If yes then do they have a product that has some IP that gives them a competitive edge?

Or is it a consultancy for companies that want to incorporate graphene into their products? There is a lot of talk in the presentation about expertise and nothing about sales of product. Do AGM get a piece of the end product sales?

I can see that the historical SP is on a downward trajectory with a large number of discounted placings. Anyone provide a quick history lesson on why the SP has been declining over the last 10 years? Has the R&D and customer adoption been slower than expected? Management issues?

What is the game changer? Volume sales? Regulator approvals?

Shareholders should be absolutely furious with the amount of cash that has been funnelled to Gneiss IMHO.

The BOD need to be upfront with shareholders about where all the money is going. The begging bowl will be out soon to fund the Ruvuma work programme for this year. Shame they didn’t sell the rest of the HE1 shares at 26p. Would have meant around half a million pounds extra and a chance to avoid more crippling dilution.

RS - I disagree.

The SNP do not have any power to stop oil and gas development. Their opposition is a political calculation. Costs them nothing and keeps the greens supportive of the other policies. Cambo will go ahead. Rules may get tighter.

It is far more green to develop new fields using existing infrastructure than import dirty oil and gas from other countries. Perth and platypus tick all of the right boxes.

If you can’t handle the energy transition then might be best to get out of oil and gas investments? My opinion is that there are big rewards for those with a more pragmatic view of the transition.

I just find it strange that there is no confirmation from the cairn side. It doesn’t take much effort to release an RNS with some nice encouraging words. It’s not like cairn are a massive diversified company where deals like this are unremarkable.

Should we not have had an RNS for this farm in?

Vike - the plan seems to be to use the JV as an investment vehicle. Our prtners identify the deals and SCIR shareholders foot the bill. The 2 fellas we have got in bed with seem to have got a really good deal. Let’s hope they give us a reach around while they are f-ing us

We will see what news comes. Seems mental to me given how close it is to going ahead. Can’t imagine it is a very capital intensive project either.

Perhaps it indicates that Perth is close and TC is keeping his powder dry for that?

I will take it with a big pinch of salt. Never seen this as a reason to revoke a licence. And this one is on the verge of submitting a FDP.

At the very least a short extension given that The rug has been pulled from cal and parkmead.

The only thing I could think is if Cal were no longer interested, but that seems unlikely, and is not the reason supposedly cited in this report
