Sorry Jan I read that as 2022…we will easily beat it for 2021.

The trade is sell TLW buy ENQ IMHO. Am I reading it right that they will only manage $100 million in 2022?! I guess capex will be high but seems mad. I think ENQ can sustain 45-50kbpd and cash flow well in excess of $100 million.

I should think so…don’t think AB will go too wild with Capex.

Scots like everyone are generally pragmatic. I would guess a disproportionate number of shareholders in ENQ are Scottish. I think Nicola made an error coming out against Cambo - popular then but might not be now as the cost of living starts to bite. Still, it is not devolved so she can still blame Westminster.

I would suggest Chris et al are the chaps that are not viewing SCIR objectively. Grasping for any scare story that would deflect the obvious fact that they made a mistake investing, and continue to be taken for fools IMHO by the current BOD and Gneiss.

It’s not difficult to see what type of financing prolific have provided. It is all about fees, salaries, and milking it for as long as possible IMHO. The BOD are therefore doing a brilliant job.

There is no reason for a change at the top. aB is the only reason that ENQ still exists IMHO. Without his holdings and financial clout in the fundraising, equity would be in a much worse position.

COBAS would not have bought if they thought AB was the wrong man for the job. They would need a much more significant holding to force a leadership change. So my assumption is that COBAS holding is a vote of confidence in what AB is doing.

Aimster - I doubt Gneiss care. They work with BODs not shareholders. Essentially they organise the type of finance that destroys equity but keeps the salary machine rumbling along? Lazy BODs love them.

Hitman - I think risk off sentiment trumps leveraged oil play in high oil price environment.

ENQ is still risky operationally due to our reliance on a few assets. Ultimately they deliver on their production targets historically. It tends to be the traders that get hung up on a 2 week outage. Long run we are more than likely going up but it will be a bumpy ride.
