Having done a little more research on Morcombe and Pardy,it would seem Morcombe was the problem.
Pardy was just left out of his depth.
Probably with little knowledge of the goings on previously, at Acadia .
Morcombe left that ,with a lot of problems , both financially under achieving ,and total loss of confidence by the Tanzanian government. For what can only be said as somewhat shady goings on.
He joined Centamin in Janary 2018 having been at Acacia since April 2016.
He left Centamin in May 20 2019, then trotted off to Endevour.Who have interests in both Mali and Burkino Faso as do Acacia.
So it is clear he was keen to introduce Centamin to that area ,and spend their hard earned developing a new prospect.
So that six months later when things were not looking good for Centamin ,Endevour would do their best to take control ie November / December 2019, then game over for Centamin and its nest egg.
Andrew Pardey simply left for his other interest Graphex Mining. He had been with Centamin many years but as CEO but more as an engineer.
Joseph was far from pleased by the situation.From what I have read in several articles.
It would be interesting to know who voted for Morcombe ,if they are indeed still at Centamin.

It was not just Pardey,don't forget Mark Morcombe,and his history.
Equally questionable, and with all the info on Centamin.
But you are right ,Joseph's sales were very odd,given 20 years of experience.
He still I believe holds a large portion,not just in his name but in his other companies ,I believe.
All that said , we lost a year through bad practice.
I personally feel West Africa is too remote,and leaves total hands on control much more difficult.
That prospect was started whilst under Pardy and Morcombe.

We are unlikely to find out the whole story,but it is possible he did NOT approve of Andrew Pardy and that finished him off with those that voted Pardy to become CEO .

Rebess, Centamin uses ball mills.
Which are large drums cylindrical in shape with balls of tough metal yo pulverise oxide ore,or anything else you choose to crush to a fine powder or paste ,depending if wet or dry mill.
In time these need maintenance.
But as there are several ,it foes not mean total loss of production, .
The other maintenance will be conveyors,and the supporting rollers.
Items of heavy wear.
Most things are done rapidly.
Breakdowns not always so.
It is all carefully scheduled by hours run.

West Africa I suspect although seemingly a good prospect was nothing more than part of a plan to allow in, END at a low SP.
By way of increasing ,dramatically ,the prospecting budget whilst taking less care of Sukari,it's core to future success.
