To A4 Mug.
Not sure you’re right there, my understanding was that breakeven was over $40 at least 5 years ago and I’m guessing that a bit of inflation has occurred since then - possible on rig hire alone.
As to theoretical mkt cap I’m more looking at what happened to rockhopper. I would have thought that £200 million is more than generous here i.e. a share price of 30p.
And as to what they’ve got and we have got there will be a lot of oil left underground when most of us have stopped using it. Methinks possibly a lot of it around the bottom of South America.
Anyway just an alternative view. All this talk of £1 a share, £5 a share is a bit silly if you ask me.
GLA. Feel the force.
Hi wraith,
Seem to remember being told about that placing. Wasn’t it very badly received by the investors the price spiked during the session and then crashed badly within minutes the following day. Never really recovered because it was suggested the bod had behaved very badly at the time? Clearly! I don’t know the full details!!
Hi Phil,
Sold some this morning @ 5.3 that I crazily bought in a second ISA 5 years ago and made about 40% profit. But 80% of my holding is still, in my first Isa and I want 18p for that for a reasonable break even. I know it’s not likely but wasn’t it Obee1 that said - the force is with you, feel the force.
Yes colonel it’s a complete croc of ****. That’s why I’m in here big-time. Can you tell me how I can filter you out please because you seem to know everything else about everything else And I quite like listening to other views from investors who clearly, are not so wise. Thanks.
P.S Eric has just made it completely clear that while fertiliser is a major cost in production that he is not looking for a farmer to deliver it.
