Dumped half my position in Shanta and put it here inDecember. Last time i held Serabi i sold at 86p. Expexting a return to ptofit to accelerate things here and font want to lose exposure to gold.
Looked v good to me, Market reaction never ceases to amaze.
Hi all,
I’m new to this share. Can anyone explain how two of the board CEO / Operating Officer got their shares? I see that there’s been significant share issuance in the last couple of years, is that for them or was there a fund raise?
Agreed Publicsn whatever you’re strategyhappy new year. Gold always has a good rin from now til end Feb. Methinks Russia and Iran no longer trading via thrdollar may also me helpful, of a pre ursor of things to come. I believe gold will do well. But, as tou know I’m not as sure about Shanta. Good luck with your take I hope we blow the bloody doors off.
Publican. I’m not trying to advertise I’m stating my position. I’ve trimmed my position because I’ve seen this type of behaviour too many times and I’m not prepared to gamble hard earned money net of income tax. I’ve lost too much already and am trying to reposition more in the ftse 350. But I haven’t yet seen a coherent argument on this bulletin board for this share being a guaranteed riser from where it is now. I hope a sensible offer comes in but I no longer trust the board or the significant other shareholders.
BP as someone who has paid 19p for some of my shares I do not see it as a fair deal. But having been ‘bankcrupted’ by these bandits, in the past, I’m not prepared to wait stark bollo..k for the next mugging. Yes if someone is able and wants to put a higher offer in I will loose out, but if not then the share price may languish for most of next year. As I said before the last issuance must have mugged off a lot of people and it was on the back of what the board must have known Namely ‘that the oz age was going to be rubbish for the year’ having taken the company to 98000? Anyway just shy of 100,000 oz. I don’t need to buy shares to get a good kicking in inner city Britain.
I think the truth is we all get too emotionally involved. Those director sales a couple of years ago just after a fund raise should have been a watning sign to sll imo. Yes maybe a sensible counter offer will come, but I see the next 3/4 months as being good for gold and I dont want to miss out.
