Kens departure13 Jun 2019 08:56
Great news over the last few days regarding our first ( hopefully of many) BDMS contracts & confirmation of our Fleet expansion in NZ ( hopefully followed by news of substantial Aussie contracts, which Paul must be working on ).We may even soon hear positive news in respect of Aviation & Rail.
However, the current elephant in the room is the lack of RFQ news.Ken had advised us to expect to have received responses to around 6 RFQs by 30/6 & we have only heard from 2 ( which we won) & in reality we are now less likely to hear from the other 3/4 in the next couple of weeks. My thinking is that Ken went when he did as he knew that ,following TFD, he had fallen short again in his expectations & therefore best for him to go before the confirmation of that fact in order to lessen any impact. The irony is that Ken is generally very conservative but TFD followed revenue projections which fell massively short & it may be that his RFQ projections have also fallen short.
Unfortunately investors expectations have,so far, been poorly managed & ,as we approach 30/6, I hope that our FY revenue projections ( around $30mill) are met - or exceeded.
