The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
As people watch food prices rising, and sit in their home worrying about heating costs, it really is going to show the residents of Lincolnshire the truth about how Councils operate, who pulls their strings REALLY. If they refuse Biscathorpe permission, those pensioners sat freezing at Christmas and the New Year might start re-thinking their voting options.
The sole purpose of a Government is to look at the affairs of the people, Councils exist to "Council" their constituency on local matters and to ensure the safety and security of those within their Parish.
Government is a creation of the people, to serve the people. Not be masters of the people. They are employees, not Masters, this is something they seem to have forgotten. CON-vid has shown their true colours, using it as a massive transfer of wealth from the people taxes to offshore accounts (FACT)
The Track n Trace phone app which was flawed, didn't work and cost many of my self employed friends weeks of being stood down in isolation cost £37 BILLION. To put that into context that many don't understand. If I gave you a £1 coin in the palm of your hand EVERY ONE SECOND. I would have to start in 848 AD - 218 Years befoe the Battle of Hastings!! And if you think the Track n Trace App was complicated, 17 year olds with laptops create more sophisticated apps in their bedrooms using Javascript.
So lets see the Lincs council for what they are, yes or no? Given the severity of Winter if one pensioners dies from hypothermia. They will have blood on their hands.
Have a Great and Warm Christmas UJO'ers.
Mr B
That actually likes the company???? Jesus, it's like people have found a tenner and lost £12m
Out of all the companies out there that are drilling and coming up with Moose farts. UJO has done remarkably well.
Many seem to forget how much the Company "could" have spent millions in exploration, instead of just piggybacking onto pretty decent onshore prospects. Instead, money in the bank, no debt and rolling on.
Let's have some positivity folks, unless you have a nefarious agenda. GL all Mr B
I don't tell porkies fella, my holding has been lost from across all three companies. Northcote, Mayan and now Helium One. Placings and consolidation now leaves me on my spreadsheet with 2023 shares. I'll sit and watch from here that's all. If it does make any which I hope, fine. The rest remains to be seen. Hope they prove me wrong but at nearly 21p average I best not hold my breath.
Hi Latorre, it's because I'm seeing the same thing unfold on this share, I certainly hope not, but I don't want people to find out the way I did. It's taken a long time to get my investment back and in a bear market it's even harder.
Sorry Keith, I'm still in this share with whats left of nearly £41.5k. If it was on no consequence regarding name changes, director changes, or projects. Where did all the money (not just from me) go? And I'd still own my original shares if it wasn't for constant placings and consolidations.
A former RAF Engineer, Gordon Bowden (RIP) uncovered that there are over 255,000 fake oil, gas and mineral companies listed on AIM. Many running ponzi schemes from just one property 788/790 Finchley Road - London. And a lot of "infamous" names accompany those companies. It's worth looking up.
I'll continue to hold as it's now just a paper loss. But I doubt I'll see more than £500 back on anything this does. The SP has almost halved in less than six months. How long before the guitar and the hat in the subway come out again ?
Hope you do well, but I doubt many will. All the best !
Just a warning for anyone putting money in here. I would sincerely hope you have done your DD on this company (at least it's former history as two other companies). Northcote Energy Ltd, then changed it's name to Mayan Energy Ltd and now Helium One. I by no means mean to disway you from your "investment" but just be aware of the history of companies like this.
As Mayan Energy alone, I have screenshots of all the Texas promises barrels of oil, remediation plant etc etc. All the promises from Eddie Gonzalez and his team. Where the hell can you drill in Texas and not hit oil?
All that came from both Northcote and Mayan was dilution, salaries, dilution salaries, dilution salaries, then I would say impromptu name changes and CEO's off into the void with punters cash. Not one drop of promised oil or remediation plant ever appeared for the millions they took. This reminds me of another gravy train, Noricum Gold which changed its name to Georgian Mining, a company which claimed to have found GOLD 10ft from the surface in Georgia. If you were them, would you have not at least put a spade in the ground? Instead of raising money like confetti for forever ongoing feasability and scoping studies. I've no idea how far they got, but do a Google Search for Georgian Mining... do you see the same pattern forming.
By the way I'm not bitter, I've made this money back elsewhere. But this is just a heads up of companies that I personally see as "Pass around purses" filled by punters and spent by CEO's and their Directors. I hope HE1 does you proud, but history repeats. Good Luck to you all.
People piling in now 35.50 paid. Share count "Record Date of Friday 18 November 2022" not long now chaps and chappesses. 16 days to grab as many shares as you can for your D.I.V.I
I nearly sang Ottowan's..... D.I.S.C.O then :-/
I'm not inclined to agree with Heid's £1.00 Morcambe and Wise Christmas Special :) I can't not agree that it may be a close one. Given this steady rise towards the Divi date and the buy backs happening. DB is playing it cool. No knee jerk price spike is a welcome change. 60/70p maybe 80p by the time the divi comes, isn't pie in the sky given the interest being shown now.
GL all Mr B
Sadly I caught a glimpse of those protestors on Twitter. Many of which look old enough not to survive Winter. However they must be on a guilt trip now, knowing they've lived a life of opulence. A life spent using un-economical forms of transport, heating and cooking appliances.
But now they've been thoroughly brainwashed by the TV and nature shows like Attenboroughs, who really is just a TV "presenter" reading a script, while people like a real Professor such as David Bellamy was ostracised by the BBC because he spoke out about "man made" climate change being phoney, instead driven by the Sun's periodic cycles.
No amount of taxation will stop the Sun doing what it does best. Unfortunately, some of those who are susceptible to cold weather may perish in their own homes this Winter. It's ironic watching them bleat and complain about fossil fuels because its like watching Turkey's investing in Cranberry Sauce.
I lived through power cuts in the 70's, which they claim are coming back, well why not, very little invested in Nuclear, coal powered power stations demolished and mothballed. Even though nearly everything people use is re-chargable and that includes everyone being urged to drive electric cars? How will the current National Grid keep up? I certainly haven't seen ANY new electricity pylons being erected? Or sub stations being upgraded or replaced? Have you?
One of two thing will have to happen, either invest in the infrastructure to support the Green econmy and millions of EVs or reduce the population. The latter being another story ;)
ATB Mr Bezzer
More importantly, WHY did the council allow the first drill in the first place. Its not virgin territory is it. As we've seen from Wressle, the final result is a high producing asset. With very low impact on the surrounding area.
Quite an interesting move, grabbing some shares in EDR. As Union Jack don't do fracking, perhaps this move is to increase the wealth. If EDR start up fracking, Union Jack Oil will be acquiring revenue from that persperctive too. Who knows eh?
I was hoping for 60p Topland mainly as a springboard or platform for any more news. 50p a fair price for what we have with just Wressle. September was always going to be Newsflow Month as the Company has said. A £1 is a £1 maybe not this year, some think yes, I'm like Dave, it gets there when it does. And with WN being potentially a monster. I'm happy.
Yes Copland, I don't lie, DB has always been approachable. Listens to anyone who calls him. I've even had the pleasure of staying at Daves with my wife, which was very nice. Good chats, beers and jokes. He really is a nice bloke and a proper oiler. Keeps his cards close to his chest and as previous interviews have show, he's modest and conservative with information, figures and facts.
Let the noise settle down and people get it out of their system. Buyers are taking advantage now. And we have the Divi to come and possible share buy back. The company is debt free and making huge profit almost monthly. A few weeks ago people thought the share would break 30p, we hit 53p and consolidation was always on the cards.
Yes the RNS has been interpreted by some as bad news?!?!? All you need to look for really is the usual crews who have been silent for a long time and how quick they jump in to slate the company more. ( There's your agenda up front and personal) The reserves have increased, nothing has gone away.
ATB everyone.
Random Whitebait? Such a nice chappie aren't you. Yes I do know the CEO very well.
Intelligence is measured by those who need to name call to win an argument. Welcome to blocksville, population Mr one post.
Where did all these sudden posters come from? One has just one post in UJO and nearly all ODX (which worked out well)
No wonder people don't come here often to contribute. I'll jump back off these boards until the crying stops. Enjoy.
