I am with on that. Many are worried, after so much gain, and seeing the "around the end of the 1Q" CE marking delayed RNS, and we are here..knocking at the door, waiting for someone to open it.

Having said that, what do I have in front of me now to reassure me? I have an analytical assessment of the test with Cytiva, which Dr Smith was very happy with; I have 56 people who were tested with our LFT against a gold standard PCR and we have 96.7% sensitivity and 100% specificity ( I cannot, for the life of my shares, believe it will show any different for larger numbers); and we are waiting for the CE marking (which will open the doors for global sales for our test, which, as far as I am concerned, will become the best LFT in the world).

Then, we have all the arguments some of the resident critics (who claim hold shares, and some who don't hold shares) who bring to us our daily feast of criticism and "it is not us" arguments.

I know it is been one year now, and many are tired to hold a stock for that long; many have bought higher than the current sp and are really worried, but may I remind you this is the pharma industry, but as a pharma stock I can say AVCT have done really well in pushing their suppliers. AVCT not once has delayed their side of the story and produced the affimers on time! We depend on third parties, my dears, to get it to the final line and we are "this" close now.."this" close. If there is a time to be patient, it is now.

I have seen this first hand with AVCT in order to fill a massive order (£20 million); day light robbery as the **************d hands in a matter of under a week (the share went from 275 to 199, then, when the order was filled, it went back up to 277. Now some are selling because they haven't got the patience and are worried about delay in the RNS - after having had massive gains).
I find all these manipulations horrible and would rather simply have to deal with the basic offer and demand, which is fair. The level the guys with deep pockets go sometimes to get even richer is disgusting. Having said that, the fluidity that such tactics cause can allow the pis to take advantage as well of drops and climbs resulted of this tactics. Unfortunately, we can't predict when it will happen, if it does.
They take advantage of highly traded stocks, which for a small cap shares, HE1 seems to qualify, as it is traded more often than stocks, such as I3e, LDG and VDTK, for instance.

Please, note that I am not saying this is happening here by any stretch of the imagination. But, if a big order is made here at a price below the current market price and it is juicy enough, the MMS may "work" the share to fill that order, IMHO.

That's all I have to say about it.

This interview was in 2006, and I am sure Jim didn't know that Youtube would be such a big thing..bless. Mind you, Jim did us a favour with this interview so it can show how stocks can be manipulated to squeeze the small guys out. Fake news are added to the story as well. So, yes Xerxes, not all is just about buying and selling (as that are sometimes the product of simple manipulation). A good lesson.

As I posted this morning, I had to press the buy button at least 20 times to get some extra shares, tried to get in at 13.60p but they wouldn't have it..13.79p was the price they gave me so I took it.

Lack of floating shares available, perhaps? The MMs will try to shake it to encourage sellers (either letting the price go up, or forcing it down). They have the cash to do that. Based on the block trades I have been monitoring I believe there is someone accumulating. IMHO.
So, let's see if this move either to create fluidity in the market.

Just topped up 2/5 extra shares at 13.79. Barclays wouldn't sell a bean at 13.60p. There were no shares available to buy when I tried. Anyway, happy to pay.

Not sure it has been spotted here, but Sir Davis has already stricken a deal for NextSource with Tesla to supply their batteries. I gues we don't have much to wait for something coming our way as well.

Very happy bunny here. This stock makes 80% of my family portfolio! :0)

I plan to add more this summer as other investments are waiting to bloom. I hope FAr can wait a little bit for that.

I read it last night. ;0) Tanzania helium indications seem to be the best in comparison to other world's data on the gas and the historical evidence is out there for those who research it.
I tried to buy at the 9% drop but Barclays didn't allow me to as they shifted the price up; I monitored it on my other screen ( the block trades had it). Cheapest entry was 13.20 /:0( and I have now some on the side I freed up not to miss any future drop. But the buying was relentless at that level.

Really happy for you as those prices were really a good entry point. I am gutted I didn't find out about HE1 until yesterday; so you can imagine how much I packed in research in just over 1 day, and have not finished it. I focused my investments in oil, mining and pharma, but I had never seen a helium stock before, so you figure. They are not dissimilar of oil explorers and miners to an extent so not too much to catch up on the geology aspect.
I will continue my research on Tanzania, as I haven't invested there before; the political side, initial views, it seems a stable country, despite a few issues with TLW, but again, HE1 doesn't fall within the energy ministry, so less of a worry, but I shall look more into it. There are other miners there (big ones) and they are ok and some who has issues in the past are now returning for more, so it is a good sign.
I just have to wait now and see how it goes as to proving we have comercial reserves; the drill bit doesn't even have to reach the reservoir for that to be confirmed so fingers crossed.

It doesn't matter, these fluctuations, as long as one gets under 20p it is ok. I don't know about you, but I didn't buy this to sell it anytime soon, so what do I care what it does it the next 2 months?
I for one, wanted to be in at a low price. I am asking myself, where will HE1 be in 2 years? And by the looks of their prospects and the geologic formation (just at the right distance from the vulcano to make those lovely gases, yes. I love geology. Shame I did political science instead.

The thing about investing in a company like this, for me, has nothing to do with charts; it has to do with geology and the fundamentals. The more one research the better it is. Sure, only invest the amount you are happy with; the moment you start to panic it is because what you invested is too much for you in relation to what you know or understand of the business; I suggest you get out (not a financial advice as you have to do your own research).
I welcome drop this morning and I hope it does go to 10p as I will buy more, as I am happy with what I invested and will add.

Some more research last night. Doubled my holding this morning at 14p and happy to hold.

I intend to double from here in the next week or so as I free up cash somewhere else. Geology (both historical and new) looks really good.
