Steph, it fell because the pacing is at 800p and the NAV is lower. You should be very happy the placing was not closer to NAV, see what happened to AUGM!!!

The fund raise was in the results RNS on 7th that they would raise money. Raising money to invest in new companies is great but it will always be done around the NAV price. The company never provided regular NAV updates and the share price simply got way ahead of its self. On the 7th investors knew this, hence they excited for the door.

I should declare that I don't hold here but I do hold CHRY (and used to own GROW and HGT). But I would buy at the right price.

It's a classic derisk and sell half scenario in case we get something like 5p. As a new holder, I have cash and other equities for a poor price and buy-in on news of funding. There is the scarcity factor of a brand new low cost mine with increasing macros... you can't buy that easily. As a new holder, I did show a 11% loss but I managed to hack the front end of my account using my browser to remove the profit loss column before I scroll down :-)

There is buying at 7p. I am never one for conspiracy theories about MM playing games because this is not. But someone has forced this under the fib retracement point this morning. This someone is traders. Take comfort that there is large buying at 7p and the nickel price is ticking along nicely. I have reached my 5% allocation limit so I will need this to fall allot more before I can add and I don't think it will.

I have now added. CHRY next calculates its NAV on 30 June 2021 and is usually announced the following month. I do believe we will continue to see steady growth and perhaps a step up at the end of the year if any of our holdings did not fundraise they would be re-valued.

Klarna represents too much of our NAV given the potential for regulatory risk going forward. It's a good move. I missed this RNS and will continue to top up.

The drop was predictable and the fault is with AUGM bod for not releasing a NAV. AUGM wanted to raise money and this is sensible but as we did not know the NAV the share price would be heading that way when the placing is announced.

@bigsocietymyarse don't get into a **** fight over how well you're doing because you have a balanced portfolio because many of us also actually do include S&P500 index trackers and global value factor ETF's. Mining stocks are not a momentum play they are latent-growth prospect and portfolios are positioned in this way to buy on the dips and under the placement prices. Just because we are not plying your style of investing does not make it wrong to invest just cos your waiting for a better opportunity as industrial metal miners are cooling off recent highs.

This is a new fund this year that I am in that will allow us exposure to more diversification in this battery space. Being a fund it can't be pumped so genuinely just putting it on your radars.

Apologies Starfoxx!!! I think these PI's have grand ideas of putting all their money into a good story driven by FOMO and on the slightest volatility, they leg it. I had added yesterday so I benefited from his exit, but fully understand the SP could fall further but could also rise. The current share price is on a technical resistance point and under the last placing price so I am happy for more opportunities.

Starfox if you can not control your addition I would suggest investing in funds and an index tracker.
A core of S&P500 tracker or a world tracker like VWRP of around 90% and an investment of 10% in TB Amati Strategic Metals Fund B Acc. Then walk away and enjoy your life.

DireEmblem THG are the holding I dislike the most as think their brands are poor and the e-commerce and hosting just that a bit mah. It's 9 percent of NAV and they do have a large B2B customer base. The sooner CHRY exit this the better as the other holdings are
far superior.

bigsocietymyarse there is always risk in a 10 bagger otherwise it ould not be a 10 bagger. It's to do with risk-reward. This is probably the best bet in Europe and being open pit and high grade is low risk vs the underground mining options.

Great. The very recent decline is because of Industrial Metals prices in general as there has been a bit of selling going on. These days there are many funds and index trackers that will have exposure to stocks and when withdrawn from funds need to sell. But the bigger fall was the placing that shifted the value of the company during this period. 16p requires the market cap to move 4 times so you need BOTH progress and metal prices to be good.

Indeed. And why are people being fearful? Well, let me explain. It has zero to do with the chat that goes on in bulleting boards (that provides some amusements to pass the time). It is to do with the last placing price and also to do with the Industrial Metals prices in general that have been down 4% since the middle of last week. There are plenty of funds on the sidelines waiting to pile into strategic metals after this wave of pent up demand is over. Keep adding on weakness but also keep a diverse portfolio of equity types and sectors.
