The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
And a very good evening to you too mate.
I will endeavour to get your email over the course of the week.
Thank you for that. I will speak to you soon.
Take care old chap
That's fair enough, but have you not at least registered your holding with them.
I know at one time you had a decent sized holding here and I presume you still have.
Hey Coggy, good to see the BB is still up and running after then delisting.
Are you involved with the new FSHG?
Hope you’re coping well in light of recent events
(Blast from the past)
Hey wait we’re you Langy?
Wow I have heard those names in a long time. Think I still have a few Origen shares in my SIPP although practically worthless I believe. Life got in the way and couldn’t keep up on the boards.
Nice to hear from you anyway and hope you get on Tapatalk if you’re still invested here.
Hey Arsenal, long time an all that.
Suggest you and others download the Tapatalk app and search for the Frontera Resources Holders Group Forum set up by Eyeson.
In case this BB disappears after the delisting we can still communicate
All the best fella
Hey VDubs,
A blast from the past - although I don’t really post anymore I still hold all my shares and dip into the boards occasionally.
I’d like to get in touch with you somehow to discuss this situation further (if you don’t mind).
I will endeavour to rejoin FOF if that happens and try to get through to you that way.
Hopefully speak to you soon old chum
(You too Arsenal & Zeps)
Can't buy over 1000 shares at the mo...
Can't buy over 1000 shares at the mo...
I did notice in The London City paper yesterday that Dart will shortly be floating on AIM and thought I'd keep an eye on it. Well done for attracting attention here. ATB.
Nsdols it is good to hear from you old mate, my first question to you is are you still invested here? :D I still am but the advfn bb is a worrying read.
A great buying opportunity starting to present itself here me thinks, had a couple of top ups here in the low .8s but I'm going to wait a while now and see where it settles. Osaki, it won't drop to .56 but if it does I'l eat my hat (and buy a lot of shares) ;)
Hello to you nsdols, I hope you are okay? Well what a difference a week makes, this time last week we were rocketing up some 25% that was all well and good for Monday until we lost pace on Tuesday where unfortunately I kept buying (think the highest I paid was (gulp) 1.37, I got up to about 2.6m before things started heading south, so I started selling as well. Currently I hold 500K but am 30% down, I never thought I'd end up in this state again. I managed to get my WSG back up to 90K. I can't really buy anymore FRR until WSG gets this bloomin contract news which is a shame as would love to average down in FRR. As I've said before I need to free up funds to pay tradesmen soon enough so have to play things a little more carefully in the very short term. so unfamiliar stocks for me are a no no. Speak to you on the boards ; )
Good morning sir, well you have certainly got me stroking my chin this morning (I said chin). Firstly well done on capitalising on a dip in WSG. I keep missing the dips and buying over 40p Doh. My average is 39.6p I thought is immaterial once the contract news lands, but now you've got me thinking maybe I should have 1m in FRR as an insurance policy just incase JV news in announced next week. If the news turns out to be not so good well my average would be just under a penny (certainly a lot better than my initial average of 1.45p 18 months ago. Then if it takes a dive I have got 4m shares to average down with :D Re divi's I used to be in BP and HSBC (my first ever shares) and they paid divi's but because the shares were quite pricey, say 400p for BP you couldn't actually own that many shares and so the amount I received as a divi payment didn't really seem that much. About £26 if I remember rightly, now am I missing something here I ask you? I suppose I didn't have as much money to play with back then so maybe that's it. A fella once said to me that national grid shares was a good bet as folk will always need electricity but I never managed to spot a dip however this was before I used LSE now I could put it on my watch list (Good thinking Batman). Maybe going forward we could pool our knowledge here, a good time to buy might be next time there is a correction in the FTSE - I been watching LLoyds as well since March when it was 42p now it's 61ish p. Re. CLP, ah BSP say no mowargh (Eric Idle) I, like you hate going back to a share that I've lost money in before but keep me posted how this pans out in June although I suspect all my funds will go back to FRR to amass a decent holding there for gas results. Right then 7.10am let's see if WSG have RNS'd but I won't hold my breath. And if I can sell WSG for a dime more than 39.6 I'll be back in FRR before you can say antidisestablishmentarianism. ; )
Having departed from AEY a few weeks ago at about 13p I came back to have a look at the state of play and was surprised to see you still posting there. Surely you had opportunity to depart at you target 14/15p - was it a case of getting a bit greedy? When WSG takes off I will come and join over here. Hope fatherhood is treating you well.
I tried to buy some here Tuesday morning when the ask was .86 I was limited to buying 75000 so I bought 2 tranches then I went to buy a third but was limited to 50000 at .87 - I think this was at the same time that Zeps could sell 3.5m So it would appear that mms are short of shares or certainly didn't want to part with many shares at .86 and indeed my 2 trades did push the ask up. Interesting mm manipulation there. I did notice later in the day I could buy a higher amount say 200k but the ask was .89 by then. Lets see what happens today....
Hello there, I was just wondering how you were getting on with your SIPP? I've had an enjoyable break from the boards this last week but really I've been busy doing house related things. It may surprise you to hear that I sold the last of my shares here this morning for an all out attack on WSG. If my calculated risk goes according to plan I will rebuild my holding here in time for June's impending news. Wish me luck and I wish you the same with your investing endeavours. I certainly feel uncomfortable being out here but that's my doing. Hopefully by July we'll have flippin great wodges of cash. Good night nsdols.
On this day I joined the club, it is a goal I have been wanting to achieve for some time, and I'm glad I got there before contract news.
Haha, I see he didn't really want to entertain that notion :D I like you am quite happy really to let them ramp away as it works to our advantage but there will be a lot of toys being thrown out of newbie prams should any little hic ups occur. catch up with you later ; )
Well you'd have get up pretty early in the morning to get a Blackie quote past me lol, I spotted your 'crevice' ref but I couldn't remember Melchys other example, I think he finishes with _________ is a positively disgusting word. Maybe that word is actually crevice :D I definitely think it helps to have a basic understanding of TA lingo if only to better decipher Riddler's posts, the last thing I looked up was RSI which tells whether a stock is oversold or over bought, I should take a look to see FRRs RSI as I have no idea. Have to agree with you about 40p we are a long way still from being 4p let us pray that FRR can deliver infrastructure completion on deadline or the herd probably start leaving in droves. I can't bear the thought of all these newbies ****ging off the company for a repeat of last year. Anyway, positive vibes! Sooty & sweep still has zero confidence in FRR but I can't help but think that he is actually invested, could you really be bothered to carry on such tedious squabbles if you didn't have a vested interest? Re. TCG - again, bad luck but I was glad to see SLME up 11% on Friday - ah well, Mrs C is nagging me to do the dishes so I better go, enjoy the rest of your weekend and watch WSG next week, it could be the big one and that is one company that good go ftse 350 riddler in convinced it will relate to 80p on this .4m pax news Look forward to discussing more potential shares with you in the coming weeks and months! ; )
