Last week we had Tradegate to keep us all amused, remember AFC hit €1.30, well that’s also closed so we need to amuse ourselves, only another 2 days to go.

dtyland - so a 50/50 split, a couple of years ago, maybe even less this would not have caused you the problem you now have. Before I retired I had no ISA’s at all, my pension lump sum caused me to move down the ISA route spreading between me the wife and my son (he will inherit anyway)
If you have no other stocks outside your ISA you could move the AFC across bit by bit (rather slow). Whatever you decide I wish you well and hope AFC makes us both richer.

So far 27 have given a prediction for AFC so how about we all give another company to also have a good 2021 I'll start, and no reasoning is required.

When I started my career in Stockbroking, known today as investment management, the senior partner said "it's a privilege to pay CGT" Those were the days before ISA's existed. It should be remembered that earlier losses (if declared) can be offset against future profits. Any investor holding AFC outside an ISA who believes they will multibag should move them as appropriate.

Not allowed to post the link, but for anyone with access this is well worth a read. Not specific to AFC more regarding the UK market in general and its all positive.. It's another long weekend so I would expect there to be lots of similar coverage, hopefully giving the market a good start on Monday.

Bumble I have never attended an AGM, and I can't see anyone being able to attend the 2021 AGM either. I dream of attending the 2022 AGM and my dream first question would be "why is the share price stuck at £3". My 2021 NYR is to moan less, it will be difficult.

I sincerely hope the £1 party is not in the middle of a pandemic, otherwise when it happens in the next week or 2 the pandemic will continue for another 9 months and we will all be in the dodar. Just cancel it and have one at £2.

This has happened before, I recall 68p dropping to below 30p in days, and then 4p for a few years. Not this time though, times are difference, I can hear Haggis telling us tonight, Lewis has sold today. Alternatively Adam has fixed a placing with his mates at 66p, he does have previous.

The UK market has a long way to go to catch up with it's peers. You need to be smarter than just reading newspaper headlines or taking notice of the BBC.

Year to date the FTSE100 index is down 12.72% because of the Brexit fiasco and the cost of COVID to the economy.
Other markets have also suffered COVID but not Brexit, though the yanks have had Trump to contend with.

YTD Wall Street is up 6.77%, S&P 500 up 15.36% then to Europe the DAX is up 3.79% and the CAC is down 6.29%

So you can see all these market (other than France) have moved significantly higher, with France performing 50% better than the UK. Conclusion - The UK has a lot of catching up to do.

Oh yea - when are you going to post that COS data - you can't can you - because its all in your imagination and you have been misleading your readers.

These example you give just highlight the UK getting back to the start of COVID, no more.

However, here's a nice headline from The Guardian 6 days ago "FTSE 250 closes at 10-month high amid Brexit deal hopes"

Another from The Evening Standard 1 day ago "FTSE 100 set to rise on back of Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal with EU as 2020 goes out with a bang"

And from the BBC 19 hours ago "FTSE 100 index of leading shares hits highest since March. Britain's index of leading shares closed at its highest since the pandemic sparked a market rout in March as investors on Tuesday cheered the post-Brexit trade deal."

Good post, your reference to PHE being at a stage were AFC where 3/4 years ago is interesting. The big difference is the share price. AFC's was rubbish whereas PHE is doing well, it's down to the outlook for the sector.
The stop loss comment to protect your profit is not a good idea, its reactive, and leaves you open to being taken advantage of. Be Proactive on spikes and be in control, there will be endless opportunities as news becomes public.
