Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
They only had a letter of intent with AAZ though. Fail to see your point.
But in that article it cites Sirus minerals as an example. It states Sirus rose 4000% in the subsequent 'speculation phase'. So a four bagger. I'm not really a TYM fan and the modus operandi highlighted in that article will more than likely play out here.
Having said that, for the 'nearology play' to work, even as a ruse to issue more shares then logic dictates that TYM will need to issue some 'positive news' in order to inflate the share price and fund their dirty equity raise in the first place.
Starting a copper drill at the start of a copper bull run could result in a tasty share price spike (followed by the usual placing) if the results are even mildly 'encouraging'.
Yes it's a very risky stratergy and not one for widows and orphans. It's basically white collar gambling. But this is AIM. You pays your money and you takes your chances. Or as the great Lemmy said 'win some loose some, it's all the same to me'.
Yeah I thought that it would be too late to market too. I held 100,000 shares last April with an average under 25p but sold them all in the early 30s. Then went in again with 10 grands worth at 45p but sold them all for a huge loss and a small loss overall.
If I held then I would of got a 45 grand special dividend AND my shares would be worth close to 90 grand.
I didn't think that the pandemic would last this long and their test was light years behind the competition at the time. Still you needed balls of steel and a patience of a Saint to hold this share what with all the swings and shenanigans. Captain hindsight strikes again. Oh well you win some and loose some I guess.
Well GGP have over 10 times the resource and their funding isn't dilution based so no.
Here is the transcript from the recent Proactive interview with Anglo Asian Mining's CEO in regards to the joint venture with Conroy:
At the same time, we were talking to a Conroy Gold in Ireland to see if we can secure an agreement among us to basically develop a few properties that they have under their agreement. Right now, the joint venture agreement is in the hands of the lawyers. They are putting the final touches on it as far as the taxation rules and regulation in Ireland and most of the things are concerned.
And I'm hopeful that if we can basically agree on all those points that we have, we can soon sign the agreement, but it's entirely up to the lawyers to give us the advice to go forward with the signing. So basically, potential is immense for Anglo Asian Mining's future.
But the presentation isn't until this evening?
Most of the private investors who have comparatively little say in how AAZ is run you mean? I'm all for differences of opinion, but your pathological deramping is as annoying as it is desperate.
That's not really the same at all. In those previous RNS's, Conroy Gold said that they were looking for a JV partner. Last year they actually SIGNED heads of terms on a potential joint venture.
Private investors are ignorant of the cycle when it comes to junior explorers. Proving up a resource to the point where you can actually mine it and third parties are interested in it is a VERY long and expensive process. And yes these expenses are footed by PIs, that's pretty much the only reason junior explorers have a stock ticker to begin with.
People talk about GGP, but that wasn't an overnight success story by any means. They were drilling holes in the ground for 10 years until Newmont came knocking in 2017 and they still walked. It took another three years until they finally signed their company making joint venture.
Of course it could go wrong at this point, but the fact that they've even got this far is an incredible feat in of itself. Truth be told, it's actually a relatively rare accomplishment.
Prof Conroy stated in an interview last week that the JV is in the hands of the lawyers so it sounds like they're at the final stages of formalising a legally binding agreement.
Like I said it could still fall at the final hurdle, but from a risk/reward perspective I don't think you can find many bigger opportunities. Especially during a precious metal bull market. All IMHO obviously.
If you're so clever, why didn't you just sell into the rise then Eeyore??
Shame you lost your newly found fortune so quick, let's hope you two are more experienced traders these days!
'Long Term' in AIM parlance is about two months though to be fair.
