George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Yeah I bought in at 0.7 on the back of HSR tip sliced a few then bought substantially more at 0.8. Then lost patience with the endless placings so sold for a small loss overall. Oh well.
I've sold up but TBH I don't think that any news is needed. It looks like the junior mining sector is going on a crazy bull run. It'll probably be nearer 2p than 1p this time next week.
According to a poster on ADVFN, West Derby is due for completion a week on Monday:

And according to that same poster we have another big deal lined up in Liverpool (in addition to Wavertree) after West Derby.
Same old same old I guess. Traders ramping it up then selling on any slither of news.
Hopefully there's something substantial going on in the background that will take everyone by surprise and cause a 'proper' re-rate.
Ironically it looks like Tom Winfrith's journalism / activism has backfired. He was trying to pressure the government to forfeit their loan, but it looks like it's backfired:

I was being really cynical about this at the weekend but it looks as though I was right :(
Well with the garbage topping the leader board these days you never know. Unfortunately the management here are probably too thick to produce a fraudulent EUA/TOM/MTFB esque 'astro turf' style ramp.
But yes.. It's not really my bag but it couldn't hurt to take a position as it's the type of share that could spike with on the heels of a couple of 'positive' RNS's. Then subsequently 'promoted' by the boiler room outfits who will entice the mug punters into an eventful joyride. Stranger things have happened.
But I can't see where the value is. OK it was cheap for an airline. But it hasn't turned a profit in its existence and we're in the middle of a global pandemic that's likely to squash even reasonably decent airlines. Oh well.
