Tragically, in some cases it seems that the Coronavirus taken from tissue samples from suffers in China can lead to Fibrosis in the lung.

This from the New Scientist:

Alwalid and his colleagues have been assessing CT lung scans of people in Wuhan who have caught the virus. In the first week of infection, before symptoms start to show, signs of inflammation become apparent in the lungs. This spreads from one site in one lung to multiple areas of both lungs in the first few weeks of becoming infected, before it starts to improve.

“We found some fibrosis [scarring] in the lungs, but we don’t know if that is reversible,” he says. “Is it something that will resolve, or will it stay in the lungs? And what might the consequences be?”

We are in an unprecedented situation not seen in generations.

The immediate issue is saving lives, as many as we can around the World.

Post Mortems have revealed that Coronavirus causes scarring of the lungs, or Fibrosis.
At this stage medical professionals do not yet know the extent of this side effect, whether it will be permanent or not.

However, rest assured that remaining invested in a Company that could well offer one of the best treatments for lung Fibrosis in a market that is multiplying on a daily basis might prove not to be too daft at all.

I added yesterday & will continue to add, this will move like a rocket with the correct news.

Lastly, given the carnage across the market s over the last 5 weeks I think NFX has performed remarkably well.

I wonder if the team is working hard on NXP 005, repurposing a former drug/vaccine to whack Coronavirus.

If P&O are banned from having large groups of people in one place then screening will be somewhat irrelevant.

If Countries start to close Borders to control infections of their own populations then people won’t be travelling anywhere.

Certainly, if you were an uninflected Country your not likely to welcome 3500 people in a big ship from an infected Country, whether their buying some jewellery or not.

My gut feeling is that this is going to mushroom rapidly, look at how the global population live, largely in huge cities, travelling on public transport, containing it is going to be very difficult imo.

Have just announced the outbreak is ‘Getting Bigger’.

This has bounced off £23.10 quite well & looking better so maybe the market feels the drop has been overdone.

The Swiss Government has announced that it is banning large public gatherings of more than 1000 people until 15th March.

If the virus escalated into a full blown global pandemic cruises will be off the agenda for most, I would imagine.

That’s if there are any staff to run the things.
