For those not watching the court case at the moment, Nisan has finished his cross-examination and nothing major happened whilst I was watching it. Now we have someone from KPMG on the witness seat and he is currently talking to our counsel. I believe Mr Mark (counsel for Cineplex) is coming to cross-examine him shortly once our counsel is done.

Lol BlueBuxton, he’s funny to watch because he just resorts to shouting and I just realised the abooot as well hahaha. My funniest moment was when Mooky asked ‘shall I read it’ and he demanded ‘NO NO NO’

BlueBuxton- her attitude and behaviour is honestly the most unprofessional I’ve seen. A 3 year-old in primary school probably has more professionalism than that and could probably do a better job than her as well.

They have the money to employ useless counsel but don’t have the money to pay back distributors and landlords, what an interesting world we live in…

I was quite sad to hear that they have delayed the end to the 3rd November, the sooner it is done the better.

Hello Alex, and precisely correct about the phone calls. There are currently 125 watching at the moment from what I’m seeing :)

Exactly BlueBuxton, and she keeps repeating the same question 2/3 times over, when she got her answer the first time. Nisan is standing his ground well and firm. The reason why CP keeps trying to make the impression that Nisan is lying is because they have nothing else to back themselves with. If they had real problems with real evidence, there wouldn’t be any need to make assumptions that Nisan was lying.

Even the screaming lawyer was more interesting than this…

To add onto that, the lawyer’s facial expressions are honestly painful to see, she thinks she’s caught him on the spot and Nisan is just breaking her down and not falling into the trap. I would love to see the look on her face if we win with counter-claim as well.

This whole thing from Cineplex is a total farce, Cineplex should have just settled this out of court and used the saved money to repair their finances, not bring in a whole counsel who’s best defence is our RCF which had no relevance to the acquisition at all.

I’m also very sorry to say it but I’ve never seen a more dry, boring and inefficient lawyer in my entire lifetime. She has just brought up the ‘time is working for us’ document that was shown over a week ago with Mooky and her screeching lawyer of a co-worker. They are just going around and around in circles, I feel sorry for the Justice having to listen to this…

StanleyPro- exactly, you know they are picking at straws when they are bringing up Nisan saying ‘we’re analysing’

Exactly StanleyPro, this lawyer is even worse that the one who was screeching at Mooky imo, very dry and no points at all.

When Nisan said that he didn’t understand the question she said ‘I think you did’. Nobody cares, just repeat the question for crying out loud. I might fall asleep in a bit lol.
