There was a lot of negativity here on this board late October and early November, but all posts seem to have ended now........

I'm not having a GK at anyone offering an opinion, indeed perhaps at that time a negative outlook was perhaps justified.

But am I the only one happy to see such a huge rise in the SP...?

Regardless of anyone's own preference, who would be better for RDSB?

Anyone any idea why no trades shown today or live price on here of Google?

Sliotar - I disagree in part, and I think that the bottom feeders will absolutely love this sub-£1, especially in the 80's.

I do agree £2.50 is a long since departed dream. But as Hellyeah suggests, £1.50 when the Vaccine is being distributed in Q1 2021 is almost certain I think.

Yellow, it dropped to just under 10p, not 5p.

In my opinion you'll not see 5p. Or even single figures.

I do think however that we're headed to 16p, the fundraising price, but any lower, even 15.9p, and I'd suggest you buy quickly.

The Unions feel/suspect that the longer people are told to stay at home (albeit on full pay) the more likely it is that they'll be paid off eventually.

So the Unions are demanding those at home are allowed to return and are assured future employment.

However, RSG know that if they capitulate easily to the request, the Union will see this as a weakness and soon come back with further demands,however unreasonable the demands may be.

IMO this Strike issue will run and run. It will not be solved quickly in the next few days. We also have the ongoing Mali political mess.

There is still Gold there though, so although I see the SP falling to perhaps 45p, I will look to buy more when that happens.

Sorry if it's a stupid question but.....I hold only 19818 shares in VLS. Can anyone provide me with advice on what to do if I do not want to buy additional shares, but I do not want to lose my VLS holding? Here's the 3 options that I've been given;

FCI - whilst I don't think your email content was directed at me individually, and whilst I do still stand by my previous posts and as such am very surprised to see this mornings early rise, if the rise remains and the SP stays strong, I personally will have no problem whatsoever in admitting that I was incorrect, hold my hands up and say I was wrong.

There certainly was no malice or agenda or 'sick' intentions in my providing my opinion. Good luck to all holders and best of health, and after all, it's only money, please all keep yourselves and your families safe.

Southernhay - (just in case you can actually see this) - that's a pity, that you'd rather (for want of a better term) bury your head an in the sand rather than engage in a sensible and coherent discussion, of which I would be more than willing to read others opinions even if they differ greatly from mine and give alternative opinions the measured consideration that they will no doubt merit.

I actually agree with what you have written in your response; I don't think that Fossil Fuels can carry on being used long-term, I do think that people will notice how clean/clear the air is in many places on the Globe due to the closures of heavy industrial plants etc., and I do think we have a hugely complex task ahead of us and that we cannot ignore that we have to deliver a cleaner Planet.

Sadly, I feel that all of the above will be put on hold until the health of everyone in relation to this Virus is assured. Until the World and Economies are back on an even keel I fear that there is now a significant risk that as a small business AFC Energy, try as they might, may not be able to stay afloat, or at best will not see any significant forward progress until priorities are reset, which I hope is in 2020, but is becoming by the day more likely to be beyond that.

FCI - the turnaround will not be rapid I'm afraid. For AFC it may never even come. Worst case this is the beginning of the end for AFC Energy.

I hold but will absolutely not buy. We are in serious trouble Globally as we all know, but I'll stick to AFC, who are also business-wise in serious trouble. It pains me to write that. There will be NO sales in 2020. It will not happen, we all need to get used to that idea.

Even the notion that anyone essentially locked indoors worrying about how their children will be schooled, where the next mortgage payment is coming from, how their elderly or sick friends are going to get through this, will be trying to persuade their fellow board members by Video Chat to release £££'s to buy EV Chargers that are as far from essential items as they could be, is ridiculous in the extreme.

Just imagine how irrelevant that conversation would be. Imagine how laughable and embarrassing even the instigation of the conversation would even be. No-one needs AFC EV Chargers, as in no-one REALLY needs them. They are an expensive luxury at best. YES they are long term economical, YES they will help Global Warming, but NO - they are NOT needed at this time - for the next 12 months or more there is not a hope that any Businesses or Authorities would even seriously discuss AFC EV Chargers, let alone buy one or more.

There are far, far, greater and important issues at the forefront now. And there will be for some months to come. My serious only hope is that when the AFC SP falls to mid-or-even-low single figures, which it will, I can average down then and then in 2021 or 2022 re-supply my dwindling accounts, if AFC Energy even survive as a Business.

Apologies all, some will say it's more doom and gloom that no-one needs more of now, but I think that we all know what I've written is the situation/risk we're in with AFC now. This is the scenario that not even one 'Share Prophet' could have envisaged.

It's a sad fact that gamblers are gamblers, and there is very little can stop a person who likes to gamble, plus boredom is the achilles heel of gamblers (see Premier League Footballers complaining about having too much free time), and there will be A LOT of boredom in the forthcoming lockdowns.

This is an absolute bargain at 50p. Everyone has the internet. Gamblers ALWAYS find a way. It's sad, but it's true.

Why would any company or Town Council spend £100k or more on an AFC Unit to park in their Car Park at this time, or at any time in the next 6 months? How can any Business or Public Authority seriously consider that this would be a wise investment at this uncertain time?

Almost all Businesses are going to be hit financially with this Virus, and can you imagine the outrage if a Town Council spent £100k or more on the AFC Electric Car Charger instead of more Ventilators and/or Hospital equipment and PPE?

Sorry, but come on folks, we all know it. I STILL THINK AFC's TIME WILL COME. But I think it'll only be long after COVID-19 has gone.
