That makes no sense Ponkey. If they sold short they would have to buy back at a higher price at delivery time as the price will rise from here. Surely that is what they expected when they decided to convert their loan to shares? Unless they were so cynical that they did expect it to drop but not more then their 0.7 plus margin? I doubt the latter but can't guarantee it wasn't the case.

So Mike, you conclude that where the government state they need more Covid-19 tests and labs and they already have a deal with NCYT to supply the tests, they prefer to take the tests from others, like Thermofischer? I agree this seems to be the direction of the article but still, Why is that then? Why an American instead of a UK company?

Funny that Ponkey, as nearly every holiday destination popular with Brits has a lower infection rate than the UK.
I think the restrictions on travel for Brits might be actually the opposite, the holiday destinations requiring quarantine when Brits arrive there.. I know Spain has already indicated such.
You may be home for a while yet. Or in quarantine on holiday ...

Depends on who you listen to. Modeling is notoriously difficult and riddled with assumptions. People are approaching this very differently now. The first time the virus had been amongst us for several months before we knew it was even there.

There are two more big buys just reported. One just before close and one well after.
The 140k buy was at 9.13 this morning. Were we already that low that it could be a buy? I can't see that far back but thought at the time we were more like at 320s.

Some discussions are just not worth the effort as there is no win, however much it feels they need to be won. He's already decided to leave anyway.
