I was thinking the same thing an hour ago. I don't have an answer, normally this level of doom and gloom over global growth should send Wood group SP further south. Although I expect this dip to attract short term traders to take the plunge.

I was hoping for a more pronounced jump upwards today based on positive results last week and the contract announcement. I'm hoping we get closer to 30p by end of this week. Soon the better!

Is this being held back by the negative sentiment and feelings over some asset managers (HL) etc?

This has been heading downwards steadily. Any ideas what's going on? Still a seller in the background?

I do believe that this will perform well long term and we need more positive announcements of orders placed to get this moving north.

I think this means more pain in store for WG holders with oil prices perhaps headed even lower short term, given the increase in US oil reserves this week.

Great! No impact on the Condor Gold SP though...

It appears to be very highly correlated with the WTI oil price atm. SP keeps following it up and down.

Majority of trades done today appear to be buys. I don't understand this price action.

I was actually there at the Investors conference on Tuesday. Agreed that Hayden Locke seemed very well informed on the subject of Potash mining. I'm also considering the investment case here and evaluating what stake I should put in here.

There is considerable risk still which shouldn't be taken lightly due to the current early stages of this project in my opinion.

I was expecting more movement in FOOT today as some pile in for the update tomorrow.

I guess the day is not over yet.

What do you guys think will be the impact of a positive/negative trading update for JD Sports on FOOT?

Any update on overall sports market conditions should have some impact on foot SP imo.

I am still holding here, but my hands are starting to itch - I don't want to miss the bounce if one was to occur. Although remembering last time, the share kept drifting for 2 weeks before starting to inch up again. Who knows what will happen this time.... I'm going to hold on buying in for now.

I expected a little more activity and volume today given the AGM. Perhaps that will happen tomorrow. <br />This share has become a little dull. Will this stay at current level until the next update sometime in October according to their financial calendar.

In terms of events - near term I think the feds upcoming rate decision will have an impact on gold prices and HOC. If the fed was to keep rates on hold that would be positive for gold and HOC

I've been following this chat for a few weeks now since I bought 16K shares at an average of 75p. So I'm down a little bit so far. I was also hoping this would be a short trade but it's turning out to be a long one. <br /><br />I am also confident there is value here and we should see a return to above £1 in a few months or so. <br />We do need some kind of positive trading update for it though<br /><br />MC
