Just shows the level of misinformed, non-value added contributions posters like Divi etc feel the need to input during the news vacuum, whilst other LTH's and Newbies who aren't necessarily involved in the industry sit back and wait for meaningful contributions from trusted members of the forum.

Let that be a lesson to all of us when posters like Divi show up on other threads and pretend they have something relevant to add. More often than not it's drivel and aimed at drumming up controversy.

Looking forward to the hype, rumours and eventual reality of RNS content and informative chat. Hopefully you all know who you are.

This paper will (1) provide an update on the progress of developing the detailed policy for financial requirements for offshore decommissioning and (2) seek an ExCo decision on the proposed financial arrangements for decommissioning of phase 1 and 2 of the Northern Development Area of the Sea Lion field.

Wonder if we feature in the 4th Item:

As Starmer is about to move on, Trump interjects to say that his policy of "drill baby drill" has helped the US deal with its inflation problem.

He adds that the UK has a "great asset" in North Sea oil that should be used.

Last week, US Energy Secretary Chris Wright urged the UK government to lift the de facto ban on fracking and issue new oil and gas licenses in the North Sea while warning that the Trump Administration had "serious concerns" about Europe's reliance on Chinese renewable technologies.
