Someone mention me?
Hi Ak, I know how you're feeling.
As I've mentioned before, been here a long time too. I started buying into my SIPP around the time of the EQT mash up...another failed enterprise! My average in there was about 66p (new money) and a few more to average down to c60p, but most of my later purchases were into an ISA when we started to get down to around 7p. I added to that too over time averaging up to 19p (mostly on the promise of the last RTO attempt).
Yes, it has been a challenging few years here, and ultimately rather disappointing.
So, as you can see, last Monday presented an opportunity to not only to finally break even in my SIPP, but also get 3 bags on my ISA. Why didn't I sell? Same as most...greed!
With hindsight, I was foolish to believe in Rolf's 'cunning plans' and he showed on more than one occasion he was out of his depth. The result is he's gone and we now have Chris leading the operation, who seems to be a much better businessman and operator, although I must say I'm not entirely happy with his level of remuneration given the ongoing lack of tangible results and debt/financial commitments we have obviously been carrying and now need sorting by us being heavily diluted.
Anyway, looking forward, as I've to do these many years, I think the dilution is now priced in and possibly even overdone?
I'm thankfully still sitting on some profit and I'm confident my SIPP will also eventually deliver some too, just not in the immediate future, which I was hoping for.
BTW, I've voted in favour for all today (like I had a choice!)
