“ The demand for our range of products has been very encouraging and we are looking forward to a very busy period as we move in to Spring and the recommencement of mining operations”
Spring ends June 21st, and so far, nothing. I’m hoping for a very strong month!
Is it me, or does Togo feel further away than ever? I know of no plans to close this gap, no communication regarding reasons why we have no license, nor timescales for ongoing conversations. It's a black hole, and I have learned the hard way with shares that that is not a good thing. I've been in for 7 years here, so forever the optimist, but I also feel silence regarding this is totally unacceptable. Thoughts?
Am I simply being negative given how many times it's been imminent? Is it different this time?
Why? As I understand it, if we got the go ahead today, we would have dirt out of the ground tomorrow. We should therefore run for 2-3 months, get first payment, and become self-sustaining. I therefore unfortunately read the opposite.
Except this share... I hope 2021 and Q1 is transformational for KRS... if we don’t land Togo, then I can see my time here is likely over. CAI has treated me well, and given me overall profit, but the frustration and disappointment of Togo has to end or be given absolute clarity for resolution.
Might be my phone, but can’t seem to find the SGM Nayega plot on the Togo site anymore? Cadastreminier dot tg https://www.cadastreminier.tg/EN/
One shining light in all of this perpetual mess is that the new minister is a highly educated individual in the French university system. Her CV looks pretty good, and common sense suggests this is a good deal for all involved. I hope that common sense shines through... at some point soon.
Jim, I personally share some of your concerns. I do feel that a well constructed email to Russell simply asking outright his and the board’s position regarding these findings is neither unreasonable, nor something they can avoid answering. They are accountable to shareholders after all. Simply put, they would either have to, ignore, agree or state it was an obsolete concern would they not?
Thoughts?
