Been here a long time, and see many placings... none have worked out particularly well.
Georgian Mining Corporation ('GEO' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce that it has raised US$7 million (ÂŁ5,463,942) by way of a significantly oversubscribed placing and subscription of 34,149,638 new ordinary shares of no par value in the capital of the Company ('the Placing Shares'), with new and existing shareholders in the Company, at a price of 16 pence per Placing Share ('the Placing').
I'm doing OK (pretty well to be fair) with CAI right now, but this board is about KRS.
To that point, I feel like I need to write to Russell and ask for an explanation as to why things are so quiet on social media, and as to why we are paying an FTE in Togo to deliver apparently no value but take a salary. To save me the potential trouble, has anyone already done this and/or had any luck in reaching out to Russell in the past. DR used to be amazing at dialogue, Russell not so.
A while back I put these in my âbottom drawerâ only to get momentarily excited that Togo may actually happen. Since then, weâve employed a full time liaison, been on multiple photo opportunity visits and bailed out an American company who left us âdryâ. I have now decided to move from the bottom drawer to under the floor boards. After many years here, Iâm glad CAI puts me in good profit, but canât help feeling repeatedly let down and frustrated in KRS and a distinct lack of transparency and information flow. I find that lack of accountability somewhat disappointing to say the very least.

Jim, given how long you (and some others of us) have held here, I feel that is utterly sh&* to have no reply. DR used to reply all the time, and even over weekends. Considering he doesn't have that many emails coming in, I would suggest this is completely unacceptable and poor shareholder management. I don't accept the 'can't talk about it' angle, a simple acknowledgement and 'can't talk about it' would be OK.
Gotta love the job of our company ambassador in Togo. Reckon thatâs a perfect job⊠I genuinely wonder what heâs doing for the salary. I know itâs not easy, but some explanation or update should be happening.
I feel it's pretty poor of a board that I have a lot of faith in, that we don't have an operational update on Togo. In short we have an FTE on the ground pulling salary, and I have no idea if they are knocking on the door daily or playing XBOX.
