The fact that $WSHP is holding around $150 is a very good sign IMO. Still some volatility, but I thought that the process of price discovery might lead it to around $100 as it was going as low as $80ish a few days ago. Suggests the US market thinks there's value at much higher levels. As it stabilises, the confidence here is going to grow and investors are going to be able to price in increasingly concrete terms the actual scale of the value disconnect between WCAP and WSHP. All we need is the former to maybe crystallise a few tens of millions in cash by selling a small amount of stock to an institutional investor and the blue touchpaper really will be lit.

Absolutely. I've been buying like a man demented for almost the entirety of the war. Now holding three times as many shares as I did in spring 2022.

Wouldn't surprise me if there's a big investor wanting to get in on the action, an easy way to do so would just be to take WCAP out for £200m. Nice premium, clean entry point, all good.

This is becoming ridiculous now. WCAP's holding in WSHOP is pushing $300m. Yet the company's MCAP is only about $20m. It makes no sense at all.

Well, I always said I would hold until the fat lady sings and Dmitry tells us it's time to sell. But, I've managed to more than treble my holding to over 2m shares the past three years - buying all the way down through the lows at great stress at times - and, all things considered, I would rip your hand off at 40p, sell the lot and run off screaming into the sunset. Or the Porsche garage. Whichever is nearest.

This really feels like it could break out at any moment now to me.

The other thing that is going on here is a process of price discovery for $WSHP. Nobody really knows how to value it, hence the massive volatility: it was $90 when I looked earlier and is $155 now! My assumption is that it will settle somewhere between those two figures — maybe around $120 — in the next few sessions, and then people will be able to value WCAP more accurately, and suddenly the scale of the gap between its market cap and assets will become clear and people will start piling in.

Total madness - $WSHOP is currently trading at $136 a share! It's over 600% up from the listing price just days ago.

We're approaching the endgame now. You can smell a peace deal in the air. The company is surely getting on with the job of exiting Russia anyway as recounted in many RNSs passim. Not long and the pirate ship will turn on the turbo rockets and leave all the naysayers behind in the port once more. Rums all round!

Doubtful. This will be back up towards 0.50 again in short order, and it will explode beyond that if we get FDA news. It'll be like NCYT all over again.

Also, this line seems absolutely key to me:

We know that Conrad is presently negotiating to farm down a good chunk of its 75% and there will be an assessed value attributed to this. I struggle to see how any court would support them in swiping the full 8.5% owned by EME on the basis of £789K of disputed payments if it's worth many millions at this precise moment in the process. It's a naked cash grab, nothing else. The more intriguing question is: who on earth advised Conrad that this was a sensible course of action?

I've just doubled my holding at half the price, anyway. I suspect we'll finish some way north of here today.

Maybe that's the obvious endgame - Conrad withdraw the notice and make an offer.

Clearly going to be a big afternoon tonight and some FOMO into close. If the ASX news doesn't land between now and tomorrow's open, it's going to be exactly the same tomorrow. We'll be in the 20s going into the weekend in that case IMO.

Of course it's good news. It implies that he's removing potential fiduciary conflicts of interest before a transaction.
