Great PDF marmite, goes to show the oil will be there just a case of working out the Geology of the area...a dry hole is not a bad thing, they can use the well samples etc to work out why the oil migrated and that will take them closer to oil next time...once they crack it out there then its boomtime...just like in brazil...got to keep drilling though cant give up after one hole unlike most AIMS investors ;) Chariot 30% chance, even if its not commercial quantities if it flows oil then it will be a real boost for all explorers out there imo

Up to Chariot drilling shouldnt be a problem imo 29% COS on the drill...twice the chance of finding oil that tullow had! At 15% COS tullows drill was a bit of a stab in the dark really

Drill has a 29% cos as apposed to tullows that was 15%...who knows chariot might hit oil as others have in the past, just whether its commercial quantities or not skier...29% is very high cos

Thanks jim so no surprise tullows wasn't successful commercialy but still important data can be harvested from it, chariot have double the chance of finding oil then :)...maybe the Ocean rig posideon will start moving out to prospect-s this month?

Could change everything again here if successful, at least there is still a glimmer of hope and chariot are due some good luck after there duster in Morocco! Struck oil just south of PEL 37 5 years ago but it was deemed non commercial...tullow allthough a duster found evidence of a working hydrocarbon system...its down there but just a case of finding commercial quantities...does anyone know what the COS of chariots well is compared to tullows Coromant 1?? Oceon rig posideon is showing a new destination of 'CCHINA' is this chariots well name? Thought it might be a word play on CHariot and AzINAm there 20% partner could be a long shot so apologies in advance lol

Definatley marmite out of all the places to drill out there you would think Gemsbok is the one to go for, its seeping oil after all! Still hopefull of a farmout deal here, this is exploration drilling after all we all know the risks and rewards involved, Chariot could be a game changer yet still.

Going through so confidence here is still high here, Chariot to drill next...i dont think anyones packing up and going home off the back of tullows drill...it showed non-commercial hydrocarbons, gas signatures, sandstones and proof of a working hydrocarbon system...this is good as it backs up the fact that our Gemsbock formation is seeping oil along the faulted flanks at regular intervals, oil is down there just got to crack the geology and put a hole in the right spot...besides that we are pursuing a farm in here, just look at exxon in guyana...think it was bp or shell who pulled out of there, since then exxon have found billions of barrells of oil...had a success on virtualy every drill now..a case of being paitient and believing in a prospect..and of course having the cash to do it imo dyor

Even if it was a duster its pretty irrelevant here its just a bonus and would boost the SP imo...this is worth 4p + just on Gemsbok and the new licenced areas imo..chariot are drilling straight after this aswell regardless...you never know they might just sell off Gemsbock bank the cash and start exploring the new licences..BPC was rated at 6p by Shore Capital a while back and is rerated to just that and they didnt have any super majors or other explorers out there drilling, just a data room and a government that cant make its mind up on approving drilling...its a free for all out in namibia! Maybe tullow are letting PAN have all the glory after all it would be the right thing to do, like you say Jim it whont have much of an effect on tullow but it could be lifechanging for PAN if its a positive oil show.
