From Bpc Moyes report...Applying a recovery factor in the range of 20% - 40% to the Moyes STOIIP volumetrics would result in an unrisked Estimated Ultimate Recoverable ("EUR") in the range of 1.6 billion to 3.3 billion barrels (mean), and up to 11 billion barrels (upside).

Yes i have, been here only a few months...were just waiting on news at the minute on an Environmental Approval, Deal or no deal with the oil and gas major who is paying 250k a month to BPC for exclusivity, or maybe both bits of news at same time?! Good or bad..its a gamble this one but the odds look good, lots of positive signals coming across though. All i would say is dont put in anymore than you can afford to lose and do your own research as allways...the sky's the limit with the SP depending on what sort of deal is done if there is one and if the drill was successful etc..one thing i will say is that Moyes & Co have verified billions of barrells of oil could be there and an above average chance of recovering it :)...lots of rampers/de-rampers on here so take everything with a pinch of salt as on any BB! lolol

Someone posted about this Shore report on ADVFN last week...something along the lines of 'shore capital says buckle up and prepare for lift off' the he dissapeared...he didnt leave a link so got a load of abuse about being a bullsh*tter...he must be in the know as he was correct in what he said having now read the pdf...i think we can class this as the first 'leak' maybe? :)

Theres oil there end of story, just didnt find it in commercial quantities back then, but that was 30 years or more ago...just think how technology has moved on since then, people were driving round in vauxhall viva's with a manual choke back then, now weve got driverless cars that think for themselves...same applies to the equipment they were using to find oil back then...it was more or less guess work compared to nowadays...theres something there, moyes have backed it up and the major is paying TWICE if they sort a deal to bring home the bacon

They are holding it back i think...hopefully on good news those on the fence with a warchest waiting to buy in will jump in with both feet and it will kick up to the next level whether they like it or not...any good news will be met with increased optimism, people will speculate that one deal will lead to another once the ball is rolling it will build momentum and pick up other investors up along the way who dont want to miss out on the party imo...yes it will tank if there is no EA or major deal...i've only invested money i whont miss, i may top up on a positive announcement, or write it off as a gamble i lost if not

IK, i like your post and thinking there does seem to be a pattern forming in the BH media articles, raising taxes only p*sses people off, they probably woudn't need to do that if the drilling got the ok and was a success? Imo
