Are these options just a standard part of the cornerstone obligations, or preparation for use upon a sale? One post last week mentioned that an indication of an imminent sale might be the taking up of options. Do options need to be credited in some way prior to a sale, or do the option holders do nothing with them until after an offer or sale is announced?

They want to stick around. So surely it means they are interested in hav and won't be selling it on. So where does that leave ggp? Partner or prey?

1.i can't see him needing the cash

2.if he wanted to sell his entire holding, and couldn't in 1 go, he would sell more than just 5m, as the reaction would hurt what he's got left

3.he seems an opportunist, came in as an advisor, booted out the last boss, took over himself then left fast

4.so all the 3 above point to him seeing the debt ceiling hitting stocks then him, thinking I will sell as small as possible, it will affect sp, and sentiment, but not affect my holding I got left much, then when it's down to 40 or 38, I will load up, and when news hits and it's back into the 50 plus.. I'm out totally.

So they also want to keep hav then also? But won't admit it at this time? Surely it's got to be a yes, why didn't they put hav on the 10 list? Because they don't own it 100%?

Would newmont be happy to run hav, keep telfer going with it's costs involved, and not have 100%of hav?

If I was newmont, I'd bid for all of ggp, and keep ggp as the exploration subsidiary to find the gold in the other licences or add those into it's own exploration arm. Any opinions on all of this?
