I think there is a strong possibility of a rights issue, hence my decision to close. I always thought since last year there would be 1 round post pandemic as they open up to fill up the coffers as a good excuse. It is of course not guaranteed but the management would not pass up the chance as it is bantered round the market, it always takes one to trigger everyone off as to timing. Just my opinion.

I use charts and try stick to it.
I was long at 203.8, then took my loss and closed when it fell to 1.86 thereabouts.
When it went decidedly bearish I initiated my short at 169.84,174.32, 160.38 and finally 145.80
Reluctant to dwell in shorts/rights issue etc which can be a bit complicated.
I think after rights issue it will be a buy but drift down till then albeit a few bounces along the way. Good Luck.

Yes, just my call. Not wanting to be drawn or distracted by arguments. I did post my views. Adding as I went along. My final short was at 145.8 , same time as when someone here asked about shorting at 145.

Can be quite profitable if you can call it correctly. It is all about opening up, getting the bookings and increasing flight numbers. Foreigners outside Europe are just flying due to lockdown, fear and restrictions in their country...remember UK is high.
The immediate reaction is followed by realisation and selling the rise, at some stage the tide will turn as condidions change.
UK largely enjoy freedom and most of Europe. US aside, the rest of the world isn't. Watch the global cases. I do not know what % non UK contributes to the % profits/bookings..all about bums on seats. Many countries are quite fearful but every bit helps. Try and look at it from a 2 way traffic, easier to get perspective I think.

Long haul is very very slow. I have been travelling and a few I know. When I travelled 2 flights incoming Terminal 2 and not full flights. Others T2, 30% to 40% with few flights.
European flights hols are busy till this week. Business European few as some are still holding off Business middle east are delayed with zoom where ever possible. Far east is v v quiet. I am talking generally. I know some looking to fly long haul out but still holding off. Inevitably US is the most profitable but that isn't flying yet.
Is cash raising imminent? Cash still burning albeit slowing, cost cutting only goes so far, it is about revenues and profits.
It will bounce and from what level, I have been bearish but at some point there will be a bull case but am not looking to have arguments about this. Good luck
