Decent spike, Sun,it is called a short squeeze mostly from shorts closing, taking profits.
For transparency I have closed out. Goodluck onyour longs.

During the pandemic some 3.2B$ lost due to hedging costs by airlines.
Hedges are not sure winners. Here is not a sure fire thing. Ozz, interesting point but research into it so it is understood, I am not sure I would hedge now.

What I am saying is to listen to the bears as well as the bulls as both holds equal importance, so to have an unbiased unemotional view as stock does not care what one thinks but the collective. Bull views override bears in a rising stock and bears, vice versa.
Try looking critically at the opposite or different views (or re-analyse diverse from how you feel) if one feel's that the call is incorrect. So many trading and investing styles + some luck. Maybe learn some TA to add another arsenal to your trading, every bit of skill adds understanding. Stay calm and be lucky.

You can have trading costs of around 8-10£++ depending on size of trade.
On indicies they may be FOC or similar charges depending on the platform.
Interest is daily and based on marginal rate (previously libor)+3% (thereabouts) for longs and -3% (converted to+ve) depending on platform. Ozz, the share price is considerably lower since we last chatted, please follow the share price as opinions does not matter. Whatever spin anyone puts the losses have not decreased to date so far and the results are atrocious. Recovery will come inits own time regardless. Share price is al l that counts.

Ozz, Is purely about profits and the ability to generate free cashflow. Lots of flights may not, it just creates extra turnover. I do not know their accounts but wildly guess. It is a competitive market, some going for volume to generate cash and market share, ie. upt up a £40 trip to £70. Others will filltheir seats at £60 while you fly at 3/5 full negating profits whereas the competition fills. Just touching the basics, It is a complicted summation.
Remember summer is going to be over soon....all about a balanced view to form an opinion without bias.

Not the safest buy at all. With oil up so high on another spike, it isnow the largest cost by far. War is irrelevant to oil prices even if bit cheaper as supply plummets and especially if economy improves, demand would increase and the price upside is exponentially higher regardlessof Iran/Venezuala etc coming on stream in th medium term.

Every ramper will be correct eventually, pay more attention to the share price is all that matters, the only reason for buying or shorting . Most can purely guess. If 100% full and only 70% are flying and 30% parked.....

If the market stays weak a re-test looks possible but looks ok. This forum is preferable unlike others who just ramp despite being lows, wishfull thinking for the last year, be realistic and a quiet bb without squabbles is preferencial imo in this climate. casa, RR cannot access raw materials unless it pays very high prices from russia. Air travel slows due to invation. It makes little from selling engines, less travel =less maintenance. CEO out. especially based in HQBudapest, geographically situated in Eastern Europe near Ukraine and Wizzair has Wizzair Ukraine and flies to surrounding destinations too. Of course corvid also affects it regionall worse, the Western European destinations isn't as bad . good luck
