Also looks the rig has has a thorough overhaul, looks like they painted everything, and if they went that far, they probably are thinking the rig is going to get a lot of use moving forward and have also done a serious refurbishing and maintenance campaign on all the moving parts and rotating machinery.

Dividend yield is a pretty good way to push the share price up to the higher P/E’s where it belongs though as it suddenly becomes very attractive to own. So a combination of buyback at low P/E and increasing dividends over time.

TXP should throwing off cash for the next couple decades, that works for me.

I went in heavy heavy here when I saw the fairway on the map and old logs and production. My hypothesis was there is oil and gas in quantity under this whole area like a sponge filled with water and air. So far this has turned out to be correct. Sometimes the risk reward is just so good you have to jump on it hard.

I must be around 90% in. Know you’re not supposed to do that, but the way I look at it, the more variety you have, the more your portfolio will act like an index fund. I’m interested in being an investor / owner of a small company that can become bigger, not having an index fund. Got a bunch around 0.20 to 0.30 area, was close to a million shares at one point.

Disregard the ?? Marks in the last post, fat fingers, didn’t see it before posting. It was definitely the Chinook flare in the video.

There was a drone picture of the Chinook well pad when they were doing the pump testing we haven’t seen before. Video ofthe pump jack pumping.

Also a video of the Chinook flare burning ??. It wasn’t something you would want to stand too close to, and given the fact that there is a only a very small vertical section of perforations in the Cruse, it was putting out nicely. What happens when we stick a horizontal well into this thing?

My position at the moment is that it is highly likely we are going to have commercial production from the Cruse, and as such the Chinook area is even more interesting than originally anticipated with multiple commercial zone potential.

We don’t know if we’re on the updip section of the Cruse formation in this area or not (at least I don’t recall ever hearing anything about it yet). There could very well be oil in the lower section of the Cruse here.

We do know we have oil shows deeper, and that there is a massive updip section from this location towards the east. This could contain both oil and gas, and it’s quite obvious that there is a massive hydrocarbon source system in this area. If there is a seal intact, there is going to be oil and gas here, and we have every reason to believe there is a seal intact. At least two more wells are pencilled in for Chinook, so we will find out soon enough.

(the Cruse formation being comparably much shallower (younger and flatter) could dip in any direction in this area by the way, so we might end up with both oil and gas). They will probably fill us in with more info when the Chinook pressure test is completed.

And you would never get a flare that size off a gas bottle like some were speculating “just for the ministers visit”.

There was A LOT of activity at the Coho wellsitein the video. Look how many cars there were, can’t have that many people just working on the well head and little plant there ...... so maybe just maybe the pipeline is being laid ......

Maybe they don’t want to show the pipeline due to all the environmental idiots out there that have nothing better to do than stop or slow progress with their various techniques ........

Coho is 500,000 usd a month when it’s online, it’s not just a sigh of relief. It will help,pay for wells we need to drill.
