Casc and Casc Deep are wells literally right next to each other, not separate fields. So X any Y fields are separate fields, not individual wells. Do you realt think the oil minister wouldn’t know the difference between Cascadura Deep well and Chinook field?

There was obviously something showing in the Cruse when they drilled through it, and since it is produced all over the island elsewhere, there is a high expectation that what’s being tested now will also be commercial and on production shortly.

Maybe it went something like high pressure gas encountered at Cruse formation, oh crap we gotta another live one boys - let’s weight up he mud to keep control of this thing as we continue down, heavier mud is expected to keep everything in place, and “does” - but it was too heavy for what was down there, which wasn’t as high a pressure as expected, and the formation got damaged from over balance.

Now, does that last part of the last sentence sound familiar? Like what probably happened when they were drilling here in the 50’s and 60’s.

The environmental report should be for the WHOLE Ortoire Block. That means everything, all inklusive.

From memory, in 2018 there were 10 wells drilled, they went very smooth, took little time, and were hooked up very fast giving boost to production figures in only a matter of a few months. I mean seriously they take like 14 days to drill, and they produce to tanks that get picked up by trucks. Like an ATM machine that spits out cash daily whenever you visit it.

The execution risk here is very small, they’ve done it before many times.

TXP has a lot of cash, and a debt facility f they want to use it. Would you use some debt to buy something that paid itself back I a year, and then kept giving you cash for years after? I would, and I think Paul will be chomping at that bit now that the licenses are in order. He has mentioned don’t forget about the West Side Story many times in interviews.

Market is unconscious at the moment, a perfect time to take and increase positions.

I think news of Coho pipeline would make a massive difference. 6 million USD a year difference, so the stock price will definitely react. Cascadura the same, but much bigger numbers.

I think the big approval was for the entire Ortoire Block.

You would have to look at the interview to confirm, but that was my understanding anyways. Will greatly speed things up by not having to apply for every little thing. I think he also said that NGC would be ready before TXP, because they will get this whole block thing, which may delay a little for Cascadura pipeline, but will make everything development for entire block after much quicker.

After Royston, the rig should go punch a couple holes in Chinook to get that oil ASAP ! If the perforating is done right, we could Get oil with little or no gas that needed to be flared while we are waiting for the gas pipeline to be hooked up. Then if there is gas at Chinook, that can go in the gas pipeline. Chinook oil could prove to very valuable in the coming years.

Increased holding by over 10%, this price is ridiculous.

Peru PTAL locals protest and stop the entire field production for months while the government just watches and let’s them do it. They got the production facilities build pretty fast, but none of that helps if you can’t produce any oil anyways. Governments lack of forceful response to protests sealed my decision to divest 100% from PTAL.

In Trinidad, the locals and government work inefficiently which causes delays , but it seems that once production is online, it stays online. Seems safer than Peru.

Neither place is like we do things in Northern Europe, that would be asking too much.

So, I flew down here overnight, and filmed some of the Royston Road construction. Now, I’m not going to point any fingers or make colonial remarks, but I think you can see for yourself that there is a lack of planning and leadership on this job site.

The stock price is getting pounded because the operational team in Trinidad is performing like a bunch of drunk baboons.

Gonna have to go down there one day to take a look, but it seems that some seriously simple tasks like building a road, the very simple processing equipment for Coho, and getting a rig refurbished to drill a well are being performed by absolute ******s.

Don’t understand if it’s a country wide thing, or just limited to the sub contractors and the persons responsible for running them.

I mean, I don’t expect things to be on the level of the way we do things in the North Sea and surrounding producing countries, but maybe what we need here is a bit less local content and some more disciplined foreign content with a whip to apply something more than gentle pressure constantly.

Big picture still intact, but extremely frustrated about what seems like a string of poorly planned and poorly executed basic construction projects that have nothing to do with geology, geophysics, or drilling. These functions are not core to TXP, but there is at least one person there running these projects that needs to get fired and replaced.

Why in the world would you delay Cascadura hookup and cash flow for the Royston well? Have absolutely nothing to do with each other, and to suggest such is ridiculous.

I don’t really care if you personally are lazy and confused, but it will potentially confuse new potential investors that come to the forum scratching the surface to present them completely inaccurate information concerning pipelines (the plan for shortest routes of tie in points is solid, and actually not Touchstones responsibility), processing equipment (done at well head, or in local clusters, not one facility for the entire Ortoire block - WTF), and seismic (Royston doesn’t need it completed in order to drill - it’s well twinning, like the rest of the 1st round exploration program).

Maybe not a bad thing with a new oil minister that wants to make his mark and get the wheels of increased production rolling fast. After an initial slowdown in the department due to the transition, it looks like he is really pushing to fast track projects and reduce red tape.

Also good they have this group telling them how to get increased investment and hence production in Trinidad. SPT and royalties need to come down or be eliminated. The tax burden will ultimately leave them with less, not more, due to stranded assets. Very good that they understand this.

You should use the minutes you spend typing here (and wasting our time on nonsense) on small things like looking at the map in the presentation where you will clearly see that Cascadura is on the east side of BOTH the Gas and Oil pipeline and Royston is on the west side of BOTH the Gas and Oil pipeline.

Or maybe your silly brain would build a bunch of pipelines all over the Ortoire block to consolidate everything at one single processing facility?

What would you then do in the 2nd round of exploration, build another round of pipelines all over the block to a second facility?

TXP did have a deal with Shell, and was going to build the pipeline themselves, even bought the pipe before the NGC deal. Paul mentioned that NGC migt buy the pipeline, but now it seems the NGC has taken over everything, and that includes talking to Shell about something new from one or both sides on the gas delivery details itself.

I recall the original well logs for Chinook having oil written on them.
