If that is true then my word Boohoo valuation is significantly overstretched

1.9bn in revenue
Yet only 7.8m profit before tax

Current market cap of 750m puts Boohoo on a multiplier of about 100-1

And when taxes paid they made a loss of £4m
And company predicting double-digit revenue declines

Astonished people are buying at this level
Carnt see anything but downside risk from here

Results are due by end April
Just seen I have been topic of conversation on this thread
A very defensive group of investors here with your backs up
Given companys current valuation I understand why you perceeve even legitemate questions as deramps
Bet you anything most if not all of you wsih you were as diligent as me before entering here
Lets see what the annual accounts come out whether there been any material improvement in sales or cash burn or losses then go from there

If anyone is feeling defensive about my valuation question then you should ask yourself why
I do think the company is grossly overvalued and management overpaid
BUT
I except I may be wrong hence why I am digging deeper
Something I dare say a lot of people here wish they did before putting there hard earned money to work

So, unless anyone has a logical reason to dispute this I am going to assume cash value of 5.6p a share (though we know this is less now as more money as been burnt since October so I am being generous).

Let us also assume that revenue has increased 500% - generous - so say 3m
Then lets be even more generous and put that on a 10x multiplier so it ads a further 30m to the market cap or 4p
That's a tangible value of 9.6p per share but with cash value falling
So at 20p you guys are affectively saying that the partnerships and IP is worth 11p a share roughly
OR
something in the region of £80m

Is that right, £80m because again it seems high guys

What are peoples estimates of cash burn for this last year please?
And any idea why the report is taking so long to release
I understand it isnt due until end April but hate to see companies releasing towards the deadline as usually always a bad reason for this

Cash position In Oct 2021 was 55m
Recently added 2m from ABB so say 57m
Lost 9.4m in 2021 up from 4.2m in 2020
Factor in inflation and additonal spend on the ammonia cracker and say what 15m loss in 2022
Would leave 42m cash valued at 5.6p per share
Then factor in IP & partnerships ect to come to a fair valuation (this bit I am working on)

There is value in the IP here and multi-partnerships with Acciona, MACE, ABB ect
I do get it
But i've seen it at ITM and at powerhouse where all this amazing potential and pipelines of deals translated into
share price obliteration because the revenue just hasn't come in
While there is value to AFC like there is PHE and ITM, I feel it is AFC's cash pile that has kept it from freefalling
Sadly That cash pile will be dwindling which is why I started looking at company spend to get my own feel for valuation
That is when I stumbled on the boreds renumeration
At the moment I just dont think there worth that much money

Perhaps comparing salaries to revenue is not the best metric
I except that
But what metric would you use
Even looking at salaries of bored members at other hydrogen companys such as POwerhouse energy
These salaries look outrageous
If you think 1.7m spent on the bored is fair then that is fine
But how are you coming to that conclusion i.e what metric are you using
Because it is totally unjusifiably in my view given the sales
and ultimately that is what a business is valued on

In a year when the company did less than £600,000 in revenue

He is upset because he is in love with boohoo and I posted a chart which shows its turning bearish
So like a child he comes on the attack
He has done zero research into WBI, he just comments on the share price performance and recent placing
Any deramper worth their salt would at least look at the last trading update
I am just hoping he has a short on here

They would sell there shares to there grannys if they could breakeven and run now
Meanwhile, the wife has deleted her boohoo app - only uses Shein now
A trend I suspect which has just began to take hold especially as recession sets in and people just want to reduce costs

Over 700m market cap for a lossmaking company that is enjoying negative freecash flow and double-digit revenue declines. I don't think so LOL
It only looks cheap based on where it was, not based on what it is today. It's very expensive
