The energy companies are likely to aquire the mine to develop the energy. The energy market is what EUZ have been working on and supply chain. Once the grant is out and I believe 5 billion is been allocated this will all come to light.

We haven’t done a VOX market presentation in ages. We used to do one after every RNS. We didn’t do one after the last drilling. Quite clearly a road map on the funding how much will be allocated to different regions. It was initially the 16th July obviously bought forward. It’s says EU which goes with all my research below this will become an EU project by the looks of things. The signature will be to sign this over to the EU. I’ll wait for my reward knowing Government want to buy this might be next year but if they buy for the NPV that’s a very very nice reward.

The Spain slide shows the scale of mining in the country but also the potential to develop a new generation of appropriate mining operations within the country/EU. The importance of the EU next Generation fund was also highlighted following the recent launch of this major investment strategy to create new jobs in the economic block .
DIT/Fred White, Argo Natural Resources/ Tim Sambrook, Maelgwyn Mineral Services also led a very interesting session on the cross border investment context against a finance environment where full look through, across the supply chain, is becoming essential in terms of ESG compliance. Once seminars on "Greening the Mining sector" tended to be a little aspirational but now, not just with water usage becoming an essential topic over the last ten years, supply and processing has to rapidly react to vertical compliance. The financial drivers for best practice social/energy/waste standards associated to produced metals makes the ESG reporting subject essential as meaningful levels of ethical metals supply have to be realised.
These are key topic for Europa Metals Toral lead, zinc and silver project as we progress our underground/low footprint/high grade development model through PFS.

PLANNED NEW EU OWN RESOURCES
In the package on the table, one group of new own resources is related to the single market and fiscal coordination. These could contribute to the better functioning of the single market, and have positive effects on fair taxation and combatting tax fraud, tax evasion and tax avoidance. This category includes a corporate income tax and a financial transaction tax. Another group is related to the Energy Union, environment, climate or transport policies, and includes proceeds from the revised EU Emission Trading System, a carbon border adjustment mechanism and the plastic levy. The primary objective of these would be to combat climate change. However, their EU level introduction would also contribute to the better functioning of the single market by limiting the uncoordinated proliferation of environmental taxes.

If this is the case and the EU want to own their resources this could be a TO and the Government will get their return.

Castile and Leon | Ministry of Development and Environment

Last Wednesday the European Parliament approved the updated program of the 'Connecting Europe' Mechanism that will make it possible to release new funds for the 2021-2027 multiannual financial framework. This budget will finance transport, energy and digital projects, and will support projects with added value for the entire European Union (EU).

The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is the EU financing instrument for strategic investment in transport, energy and digital infrastructure. In the transport sector, the MCE is dedicated to the implementation of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) and aims to support investments in cross-border connections, lost links, bottlenecks, as well as promoting sustainability and digitization .

The CEF Mechanism is structured around three pillars, with some € 23 billion earmarked for transport projects, € 5 billion for energy projects and € 2 billion for digital projects.

The policy of the Trans-European Transport Network addresses the implementation and development of a European network of railway lines, roads, inland waterways, sea routes, ports, airports and railway terminals. The ultimate goal is to close the gaps, remove bottlenecks and technical barriers, as well as strengthen social, economic and territorial cohesion in the EU. The TEN-T policy is based on Regulation (EU) No. 1315/2013.

The current 'Connecting Europe' Facility program covered the period 2014-2020. For this reason, the European Commission began work towards the approval of the new budget (2021-2027), which culminated this week with the approval of the new updated program of the Connecting Europe Mechanism 'CEF'.

The Connecting Europe Mechanism 'CEF' is regulated by EU Regulation 1316/2013, and in this regard it should be noted that the European Parliament, in its April 2019 session, modified its Annex I, including the connections with the Northwest of Spain .

Fruit of the work of Castilla y León, Asturias and Galicia

This modification has been the consequence of a work started a long time ago jointly by the Junta de Castilla y León, the Principality of Asturias and the Xunta de Galicia, to achieve the extension of the Atlantic Corridor to the ports of the Atlantic façade and Cantabrian, through shared technical and institutional work and with the integration of the social, business and union forces of the three territories in the achievement of this common objective.

Now it has been this modification of Annex I of EU Regulation 1316/2013 which will allow financing through the 'CEF' funds, actions in both the Gijón-León-Venta de Baños - Valladolid corridor, as well as in the A corridor Coruña-Vigo-Orense-Monforte de Lemos-Ponferrada-León.

Castile and Leon | President of the Junta de Castilla y León

The president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, and the vice president, spokesperson and counselor for Transparency, Land Management and Foreign Action, Francisco Igea, have today taken stock of the two years of legislature with broad compliance with the planned objectives, focused on the modernization of the Community, the commitment to digitization and innovation, sustainability, rural development, the quality of public services, transparency and regeneration. Specifically, more than 88% of the commitments of the investiture speech of the Chairman of the Board and of the appearances of the directors have been fulfilled or are in the process of being fulfilled.

Without forgetting that the global pandemic has forced for months to focus on the protection of life and health of people and to maintain economic activity as much as possible, both have agreed that the regional government continues to have a future project for Castilla y León from stability and betting on dialogue with everyone.

Fernández Mañueco has highlighted that in these two years the Junta de Castilla y León has carried out an effective management, with the processing of more than 2,400 initiatives in the Governing Council, for more than 5,150 million euros. Thus, he has highlighted the effort made to put innovation and technology at the service of all, in education, in health, in social services, in the countryside, in companies and in industry; in a training focused on fostering the talent required by the new times and with more housing, conciliation, joint responsibility and transportation facilities; with equality policies and implementing new services for the elderly and the most vulnerable, with humanity and closeness.

Regarding the remainder of the legislature, the president stressed that new initiatives will be promoted to fight depopulation, among which are favorable fiscal measures for the rural environment and the increase in the promotion of housing for young people in the towns. Likewise, it has advanced that the Junta de Castilla y León will take steps to advance in free education from 0 to 3 years, with the aim of starting with those of 2 years from the 2022-2023 academic year.

Other bets will be the implementation this year of the professional career for public employees. And in the social sphere, the implementation of a Plan to combat Loneliness, with support from advanced telecare.

During his speech, the president also insisted on the need for European funds for economic recovery to be distributed fairly, based on a multilateral agreement, not bilateral agreements. “I ask Sánchez to invite us to all the autonomous communities to attend his bilateral meetings. We want to know what is being negotiated with the future of all, with the money of the Spanish for the recovery ”.
