Well let’s what happens this week it’s RNS week I believe. I also missed this under posts on linked in
Renewables for self-consumption in extractive projects. they are a reality already in projects in our country.
Renewables for selfconsumption in extractive projects meet indeed reality in projects in our country.

Can you imagine a photovoltaic #autoconsumo installation of a mine? ??
Soon you will see her in the historic Riotinto mine, in #Huelva! There, Endesa X and Atalaya Mining will build a photovoltaic self-consumption plant with 50 MW of power that will reduce the emission of 40,000 t of CO2, equivalent to the consumption of 173,000 barrels of oil.
The main objective is to reduce the environmental footprint of the mine, where electricity consumption represents 70% of the carbon footprint of the mining operation. ??
The 75,765 solar modules that will cover a quarter of the mine's energy needs, thus reducing its electricity bill.
??? "This self-consumption facility, record by size, is applied for the first time to an industrial process to improve its competitiveness and environmental commitment." Our general director in Andalusia, Extremadura, Ceuta and Melilla, said Rafael Sánchez Durán, PhD.
