Even at the current share price, this is still a bargain! Once they first announce a divi this will jump considerably. I’m hoping they do two small divi’s too. A special divi from the new JV deal and a second one in June with the financials. This would have a much longer term positive impact on the share price than one slightly larger divi. The year ahead is looking good though.

It’s likely if Optiva were to produce another broker it would be pushing towards the 20p mark with flanks and current prices. I remember just over 12 months ago when they said 2.8p and everyone was over the moon. It surprising how much things have changed here in around an 18 month period! I’d like to think First Equities 12.75p target price is on the conservative side and we’ll actually go a little higher.

It’s definitely lifted some spirits again now having ME on side. Our biggest hurdle is obtaining funding and now hopefully having Eales on side will make this more realistic. We know we have the resources there, it’s just avoiding dilution on the way to getting them out of the ground.

Only AAU could have an RNS with great news, followed by a flood of selling, which lowers the sp. Anywhere else would have people holding and / or buying, not this one though. It baffles the brain sometimes!

Thanks for posting that report n3. I’ve not looked too far into Salinbas before. I knew we had a decent size asset but have not paid attention to it’s potential. I know the report is on the journalistic side, but it does show that there is a lot further potential to this project.

Ned, I can’t believe you were calling me a loser and accuse me of deramping this share, considering how long I’ve been a holder, when you’re just one of the people that jumped on this band wagon in November... After it had near already 10 bagged!

Hopefully if Norilsk do make an offer, the option of a JV will be greatly considered. We could quite easily get them to pay for the mine construction, fund further exploration around the area and still keep a 50/50 split. This would give us the best value in a few years time, along with having their experience on side also.

Ned, don’t just jump to conclusions and assume people are deramping or shorting when they make a genuine comment. I’ve been holding EUA shares for over 4 years now. The price of palladium has risen consistently over that time and has never once had bearing on the share price. My point was that the company announced the biggest news it ever will with the mining licence and yet the share price plummeted a month later lower than it had been previous. Now, many have just jumped on the band wagon presuming a sale will go through. I was just questioning, are we likely to plummet once again.

With the ever increasing cost of Pd and Rhodium, it’s seeming more likely that EUA may go it alone and reap the benefits long term. As so many jumped on the band wagon around Oct / Nov, on the whiff of news a sale might go through. The question is, how far would the so plummet. Just over 12 months ago it spiked to around 1.2p on receipt of the Montechundra licence, then plummeted all the way to 0.4p. The whiff of a sale came along and it jumped to where it is now. If they decide not to sell, what are the chances of this plummeting back to 0.4p once again...?

This share keeps bouncing up and down like a yo-yo between 0.4p and 0.5p. Considering there’s no news flow, looks like it’s destined to keep doing this until a decent RNS drops. You can see it’s about to head back down to 0.4p ready for the Friday afternoon dip, then Monday morning we’ll see some blue once again.

I didn’t say it doesn’t happen. However, with so many cases of people and companies declaring bankruptcy over the last 100 years, many brokers these days request proof of funds before they’ll allow you to short a stock. Don’t get me wrong, yes there are dodgy brokers like IG out there that will allow anyone to start shorting. My point was that just because someone is de-ramping a stock it’s unlikely they’re a shorter these days and are merely just a PI assuming an sp will go upwards and just want to get in at a lower price.

Possibly Joe but you’ll be surprised what the news of a first divi can do to a share price. Even if we don’t end up in a JV with the “proposed partner” I still think a small divi will be released due to the financial position we’re now in. At the minute no one knows about Ariana and we seem completely off the map considering the continuous good news that is released. I’m not circa 10p is a definite but provided a divi is announced, having no debt and making gradual increasing profit over the last two year will have many finally flocking this way.

It comes down to exposure of risk also. A JV drastically reduces risk. Yes in the long run it won’t be as profitable, but accelerates the road to production and makes use of other people’s money to do so. One thing I am fairly confident of is that in 12 months time we’ll likely be knocking on the 10p mark. The financials in June will make a big change (if one hasn’t been made already). We'll have paid off the debt, have made a profit and be in receipt of a small divi.

Shorting is a thing of the past. It was huge between 1900 and 1970, but these days with access so simple and purchase prices so low it’s rare for PI’s to short stocks and tends to be people with a lot of financial backing behind them in the first place.

Yes, that’s the way I’m reading it, with another £137k added in 12 months time too. Very interesting indeed thinking about it. If they were planning on accepting a sale, I see no reason to do the options in 12 month stages. Dare I say, I’m starting to think we may be going for the best option, in obtaining funding and going it alone? Possibly a JV, but ME agreeing an option price of 1p rather than the current sp, the JV terms must be quite reasonable.

On the bright side, with ME being granted options at 1p it either means something has happened in the background or is likely to happen very soon. It’s unlikely he’d agree to 1p if there was a good chance or further dilution. Fingers crossed we hear something soon regarding a sale / JV.

Early last year EUA were constantly firing updates out through twitter, even when there was nothing of relevance happening. Recently there’s hardly anything. We all know big news is coming this year, but I’m starting to think it may be sooner than we think. Everything’s very hush hush from EUA at the moment. Very suspicious indeed!

It’s more likely a hostile bid will come is as currently Kibo have the assets, just no revenue to keep them afloat for a sustained period.

It’s because the was no reason for this going above 0.40p, nevermind 0.50p. Was just people jumping on the back of a small rise, now they’re jumping ship again. It’s likely this will settle back to around 0.35p for a few months until there’s some news. On the bright side, I can’t see it going lower than 0.35p as there was some resistance there.
